ShareX is a feature-rich screenshot utility that can grab a selected area with a single key and then edit, save to clipboard, drive and/or instantly upload them to 25+ different hosting services (posts to Imgur by default). ShareX can capture screenshots with variety of shapes including rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, triangle, diamond, polygon and freehand. Supports screenshots with transparency and shadow, as well as those that require scrolling. In addition to images, the program can upload other file types, supporting uploads from the clipboard, a watched folder, as well as drag-and-drop.

MyImgur is a tool to quickly upload pictures to Imgur.com, is able to send multiple files in a queue, crop an area of the screen, clipboard, or capture the active window (by default F11). Once uploaded, the program can copy a link to the file directly to your clipboard.

The program can also auto-resize pictures and/or lower quality automatically if file exceeds a given size to speed-up uploads on slow connections. Captures can be stored from cropping or paste and supports multiple monitors in any configurations (spanned horz/vertically etc.).

Finds details inside standard text files, as well as PDF and Office formats. Note that Win7 users will need the Filter Pack (not portable) to search Office files, as described on the website.

OnlyStopWatch is a simple time monitor that includes a stop-watch and countdown timer. The program can display the hour and milliseconds and several background options are available.

ESEDatabaseView reads and displays the data stored inside a database used by a variety of Microsoft programs known as Extensible Storage Engine (ESE) database (aka Jet Blue or a .edb file). KeyNote NF is a fork of the original early 2000s' open-source Keynote, which is no longer being developed. WordWeb is a one-click English thesaurus and dictionary that can look up words in almost any program. It works off-line, but can also look up words in web references such as the Wikipedia. It includes full dictionary and thesaurus for the various English variants including American, British, Canadian, Australian, Indian and global.

Sizer is a freeware utility that allows you to resize any window to an exact, predefined size. This is extremely useful when designing web pages, as it allows you to see how the page will look when viewed at a smaller size. The utility is also handy when compiling screen-shots for documentation, using Sizer allows you to easily maintain the same window size across screen grabs.

Sizer 4.0 has been completely rewritten to improve compatibility with modern applications including Windows 10 Apps. Sizer 4.0 is less intrusive than previous versions and therefore is more stable. Unfortunately this increased stability comes at a small price, some infrequently used features have been removed as a result.

TextWorx lets you access a large suite of text manipulation functions within any text editor or browser. It provides a universal context menu and custom toolbar/s that you invoke with a hotkey. To use, select the text that you wish to manipulate, then open the context menu and select the function that you wish to run the selected text against.

The things you can do includes: insert various date formats, change case to various different formats, delete duplicate lines, HTML tags, multiple regex search-and-replace etc. Note that you can easily add your own functions by editing a INI file, so it can be fully customized to your own needs.

NewFileTime is a small but effective tool that provides you easy access to correct or manipulate any of the timestamps for any file and folder.

Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) Studio is a powerful and flexible screen recording and screencasting tool. The program includes real-time recording, broadcasting, and audio mixing and layouts. Freeplane is a free and open source software application that supports thinking, sharing information, getting things done at work, in school and at home. It provides you a set of tools for mind mapping (also known as concept mapping or information mapping) and navigating the mapped information. Freeplane's capabilities will appeal to power users, but for the typical user is also a more robust alternative to Xmind, Mindmeister, and similar mind mapping software.

XMPlay is a skinnable audio player that plays all major audio formats and includes gapless playback, effects, equalizer, net streaming. More features are available using plugins, including visualizations, more format support, cover art and more. Note that the library and playlist will not work as you change PCs.

Can play MP3, WMA, M4A, OGG and more, as well as output to WAV, MP3 OGG etc. (via external encoders).

Alternatively, XMPlay is natively portable but does not automatically adjust library and playlist paths: download the ZIP package, extract to a folder of your choice and launch xmplay.exe.

Youtube Downloader HD saves videos to your computer for playing outside a browser or offline viewing. WinContig is an easy-to-use file defragmentation program that allows defrag of parts of the drive. This is useful for squeezing extra performance out of important or frequently used files or programs without wasting time and energy cleaning up the rest of the drive.

Note that this is recommended only on magnetic disks. Flash-based drives (SSDs and thumb drives) don't benefit from defragmentation and such maintenance tools can reduce the life of the drive.

The program engine is based on the standard Microsoft defragmentation API and allows you to group files into profiles, accepting a number of available command-line switches for additional control.
