PDF-XChange Editor is a fast, feature-rich PDF viewer and editor with a tabbed interface. The program includes edition of text-based PDFs, OCR of image based/scanned PDF's to fully text-searchable PDFs, full document spellchecking, rotate/crop documents, add comments/annotations to any PDF file, QR codes and more. You can apply custom stamps from any image/PDF file/Windows clipboard, mark-up pages with text and objects and add/edit hyperlinks.
The program supports export to text or image (BMP/JPEG/TIFF/PNG etc.).
Note: The free PDF-XChange Editor lacks some features present in the registered version (payware). Some "Pro" features can be used, but will add a watermark upon saving.

The OCR language files for English, Spanish, French, German, Czech, and Finnish now are already in the "Tesseract" folder of the portable zip package, and there is no longer an OCRBaseLangPack.zip download on the OCR language page. The are other languages there, but six mentioned here are already in the base product.
v8.0.332.0
I had a document with both text and pasted images. While Acrobat Pro kept complaining there was rendered text and wouldn't OCR the available images, PDFXChange got right to it.
v6.0.322.7
As with other PDF-Exchange products the editor doesn't disappoint, it works as advertised and does all I want and more :)

Motion granted. :D

That's fine too, this program is great, it deserves more comments all the same!

@Special ;-)
I'd suggest leaving the thread as it stands;
Just consider this entertaining sequence of comments as some harmless comic relief...;-)
v6.0.321.0
If two registered users press the waste-basket icon, the pesky comment will be deleted all the same. So, which one do you want me to click? 3:)
v6.0.321.0
Guess having a user rank of zero is the cause? Well, I don't feel like spamming the forums for rank-up's or whatever, but if an admin can delete these comments of mine here I won't be offended, it's really off topic at this point.
v6.0.321.0
@AndTheWolf: confirmed, thanks for that. Updating entry.
