has an entry for an application named cPicture v.3.8.6 that is Freeware and Donationware
Web Site: http://cpicture.thecloudsite.net/
VirusTotal Score:
cPicture.exe 2-70
cpp_tiff_png.dll 1-68
All the other files are clean
Assuming that cPicture is not harmful
Unzip and run cPicture.exe (It seems that it is a no install app)
This application is very fast.
It leaves a couple of keys in the registry.
The cPicture v.3.8.6 and cPicture LE v1.6.x seem to be developed by the same developer(s).
v1.6.5
This is the new address:
http://cpicture.net/en/index.html
Addendum:
That should read, remove the two .dll packages from the program folder, that is, the "cpp_raw & cpp_tiff" packages. It does not harm the program and eliminates the opening windows telling you they are not present in the 2.7 version. Minor annoyances gone away!
The "cpp_raw" & "cpp_tiff" windows at start up can be removed from the program folder and this will stop the intrusion. It in no way effects the way the program works. You can look through the 2.7 version and make a few changes, too.
Yup Redbeard, it says that both the cpp_raw and cpp_tif_png dlls are not version 2.7
It also says that the demo has expired which is kinda strange for the free version, but then it seems to work anyway.
I've not tried anything strenuous with it yet though, it may be hobbled
Does anyone else get an error stating "The plug-in "cpp_raw.dll" is not version 2.7 and cannot be loaded."? I get this even after updating the plug-in from the website.
I have update the direct download link with V1.6.5, the last freeware version prior to V1.6.6, courtesy of Pjotr. Thanks!
I have included a direct download link for the last freeware version that I have. If any of you have a more recent freeware version, please email it to me.
The new version 1.6.6. is no longer freeware.
You need a license code after the 30 day trial period. If not the program stops working.
cPicture now at version 3.8.8 and it is freeware/donationware.
