I've been a huge FileZilla fan since it came out back in 2001, but got a chance to test it today and WinSCP is amazing. I was able to resolve an issue with WebDAV via that program that no other program seemed capable of.

@bamanzi: WinSCP v5.1.8 is the previous stable release; v5.5.1 is the new stable, released 2014-01-24 (http://winscp.net/eng/docs/history#5.5.1 and http://winscp.net/eng/docs/announcement_winscp55)...

v5.1.8

bamanzi 2014-02-28 01:19

Why http://winscp.net says the latest version is 5.5.1, but here 5.1.8?

@linuxamp I like using Portable Apps because you can update all your apps in a few clicks and if the app is no longer natively portable (or "stealth" for example) the portable apps wrappers would handle that no problem.

v5.1.1

chris: There's no need to copy/move your external program directory within WinSCP directory.
In your settings for external program, simply enter a path without the drive letter:
e.g. \Path\To\Program.exe

V4.3.2
