PicPick is a versatile all-in-one tool for images on the desktop. Includes a powerful screen capture tool, editor, color picker and palette, pixel ruler, protractor, crosshair, whiteboard and more. Can upload images automatically to FTP, Facebook, Twitter, default e-mail program, or send to installed Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint).

Alternatively, PicPick Portable is stealth and automatically adjusts paths.

How to extract: Download the "Portable" ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Create a blank file called picpick.ini in the same folder. Launch picpick.exe.

LightBulb is a eye-strain prevention tool that gradually modifies screen colors over the course of your day. The program is very configurable with lots of controls for defining daytime and nightime, and will exclude applications where color specifics are important e.g. GIMP or PhotoDemon.

WinCompose allows the insertion of special characters such as é ž à Û ø ¤ « ¿ ® ™ using short and often very intuitive key combinations. For instance, ö is obtained using o + " and ™ is obtained using T + M.

The program is based on the well known Unix compose key and WinCompose ships with more than 2,000 compose rules.

Note: Versions 0.7.0 and up require the .NET Framework. Download link for the last non-.NET version is at v0.6.13 (direct download)

i like it but i wish it was easier to search for say symbols like dollar signs, ampersands etc and keep all the alphabet letter variations separate. Also, should be able to have a "favorites" tab that the user adds the best ones to.

webfork yes I did thank some time before I posted this, its not something I do often but this App really helped me and made it very easy to do what I was trying to do. Before using WinCompose it was a real nightmare to do things I wanted and most often I failed. So once again thanks for the hard work on this great useful software. ^5

Desktop Info displays system information on your desktop in a similar way to some other desktop information tools. Unlike others, this application looks like wallpaper but stays resident in memory and continues to update the display in real time. Uses very little memory and nearly zero CPU.
