v6.0.1
@foxcole: click the link in 'how to extract.', you need to replace bin/innounp.exe with the latest version, yours only supports versions up to 5.1.1. Innounp version 0.36 supports unpacking version 5.4.2 Inno Setup installers.
Worked for me.
V3.0
I used Universal Extractor to open the installer, then copied the {app} folder to my PortableApps directory on my USB drive. I renamed it to Artweaver and created the .ini file. Seems to run just fine! I guess the {embedded} directory contains license files and so forth; not necessary to run the program. Very nice!
V3.0
I can't extract the exe file with Universal Extractor. I get an error:
"Signature detected: Inno Setup Setup Data (5.2.4)
This is not directly supported, but i'll try to unpack it as version 5110
; Version detected: 5204
Critical error: The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.
Unpacking failed. This version is not supported."
How can I extract it, then?
oops, my mistake, i had some conflict with hips module; no problems at all using version 1.1 (checked in about dialog)
i'm running 1.06 with extraction method above and after a couple of seconds using it, application crashes - literally window is GONE. anyone has this issue? i see Ztormbringer has a slightly different issue
@RonFan there never was any portable version.
You need to use Universal Extractor (*) to make a "somewhat" portable installation all by your own.
(*) I tried to extract it with 7z instead of UE but it didn't work for the current installer.
This is NOT portable anymore... I will wait until the portable version comes out.
there are some link - "Buy". It's not freeware.
