Angry IP Scanner is a fast IP scanner that can ping a range of IP addresses to check if they are alive, then optionally resolve hostnames, scan ports, etc. The program is useful for network administrators to monitor and manage their networks.

1Time can be used as a stopwatch, countdown timer, or alarm. You can configure it to beep or play any media file when the countdown reaches zero, or when the desired time is reached. When minimized to the taskbar, the title is dynamic and reflects the remaining time to go. You can use it to time hours spent on a project, be alerted at a specific time, remind you to take a break at regular intervals (by using the "repeat" function), etc.

ImgSearch lets you search and delete similar images across multiple folders. The program even allows checking for similarity from previous image analysis. Files are removed to the Recycle Bin and can be restored in case of a mistake.

Folderico allows you to change the default icon of any folder. It performs this feat by creating a desktop.ini file in the chosen folder that points to the desired icon (also automatically created) so that Windows Explorer will render the folder icon differently. Folderico does not need to be running for the new folder icon to be displayed, and the changes are sticky even when the hard disk or memory stick is plugged into another machine.

Taskbar Control allows hiding/un-hiding the taskbar, including the 1 pixel line that "Auto Hide" displays, without changing a permanent system option. The program's default keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+I.

Proxomitron is a local HTTP web-filtering proxy. It contains a powerful text matching engine specially designed to re-write web pages on the fly. You can use one of the built-in filtering rules, modify them or even write your own. With Proxomitron, you can stop pop-up, pop-under or pop-over ad windows, convert ads/banners into simple text links, freeze animated GIFs, stop blinking text etc.

ColorPicker allows color code selections, primarily for web development. Colors can be selected similar to the Windows color selection via an HSL color graphic, and both HSL and RGB values can be adjusted individually. WizMouse is a lightweight program that lets your mouse wheel scroll the window under the pointer, even if the window doesn't have input focus. Normal behavior requires clicking on a window to activate it before you can scroll it with your mouse wheel.

The program can optionally enable the mouse wheel in applications that don't support it by converting mouse wheel messages to scroll bar messages.

Other options include "reverse mouse scrolling" (like "natural scrolling" on Mac OS X Lion), and bringing the scrolling window to the foreground.

Maxima is a system for the manipulation of symbolic and numerical expressions, including differentiation, integration, Taylor series, Laplace transforms, ordinary differential equations, systems of linear equations, polynomials, and sets, lists, vectors, matrices, and tensors. Maxima yields high precision numeric results by using exact fractions, arbitrary precision integers, and variable precision floating point numbers. Bvckup 2 is a backup/synchronization tool that uses "delta" copy methods, meaning it only transfers changes to a file or files rather than recopying the entire set. This is frequently faster, saves bandwidth for network backups and can help flash media live longer by reducing the overall number of disk writes. SCR is a simple tool to search and replace text (without formatting) in a directory of documents. The program supports previewing, case-sensitivity and various search options. The program also supports changing text within file names. Tested successfully with Word 2003 DOC files.

Select "Don't make any changes" to preview changes.

Warning: the program creates "Replace with SCR" option every time you right-click on an item in Explorer and may not be considered portable.

IntelBurnTest allows CPU benchmarking and stability tests under a heavy load. The program is commonly used by the overclocking community to measure CPU temperature when used in conjunction with a separate temperature monitoring program.

NOTE: The program will stress the CPU, memory, and north bridge, meaning the machine will run unusually hot. Make sure your PC is properly cooled and ventilated before use. Additionally, setting the "times to run" past 20 doesn't provide better results.
