No Autorun prevents a USB storage device from auto-running, preventing annoying or malicious programs from automatically starting on your machine. When a USB disk is inserted, the program not only locks the autorun.inf file, but also locks all the autorun-related program and other suspicious files.

it does what it is supposed to do. this tool is smart!
The 'Screenshot' here is totaly uninformative
See the 2 screenshots on the 'Website' link but a better Idea of what this prog does
Than try USBWriteProtect.
well! what I need is not to prevent a virus to be loaded on my PC from any USB memory. (that's not bad, though).
What I need is block any virus on any PC to be loaded onto my USB memory. (= to protect my USB memory). and also some viruses make USB memory not anymore readable.
i implemented this on my computer but did it through Windows itself.
- Control Panel > Hardware and Sounds > Autoplay.
- Everything is "Take No Action" and the checkbox up top is unchecked.
I tested this by plugging in my External USB HD and it did not autorun.
