F.Y.I
English Users: Must use "X-WinHTTrack.ini" from "English_Users" folder.

I just mirrored 2 websites filled with tutorials i use and the end-result is astonishing!
the links have all been adjusted to the offline location.
all corresponding images and files have been included.
it's even capable of syncing, and able to create a database for searching with words. It even has a built in browser, so you can browse the mirrored webpage.

Prior to this i was using Web2PDF, a free online service that was only capable of creating a snapshot of 1 page afterwhich i had to edit with Acrobat to adjust the links and stuff, no support for links, and it created a watermark on each page.

this is probably one of the most amazing software i have used.

Thanks to the author for making this free!
Def. Recommend and a def. 10.

Some sites (not all), though, keep "phoning home" (or rather to third parties), every time you view a page offline. I wish HTTrack would handle this better. Otherwise it's a great program. I'm mentioning this as some might be unaware of connections getting established in the background while they are viewing their favourite pages offline.

I've tried a few others over time and keep coming back to WinHTTrack. So lucky this program has been maintained over the years.

It doesnt work for me. Win XP and Win 7 too.

allclownsareevil on 2012-07-30 20:05

I suspect the reason people are claiming this doesn't work is because they are using the proprietary software that came bundled with their wifi card. This only works if you allow Windows to control your wireless network profiles.

You can use this column to show process with higher disk usage. Just right click to processes header and add I/O Delta column. Then click to I/O Delta header to sort the list.

Hi, System Explorer is a highly regarded software. However the questions here are important. If you look at their site you will see they have a graph of anti-virus usage. How did they get that info ? Conjecture: when they call home. Perhaps they market such info ? We should bring this question directly to System Explorer and also to Wilders. I would like to add their two softwares to my layered security mix, but first know more about how and why.

Tb ate my mail last week and then died. Er...so I re-installed it and copied over - no problem. If its important, back it up. D-synchronize (portable) and FreeFileSynch keeps my sh*t together accross many laptops + more flashdrives + several usb H/Ds.

As for the -wont send problem- on reinstall i had the same...i set everything 100% right, get messed around and was close to being very angry, but rebooted a couple of times (no changes to anyting) and *THEN* was good to go. I have no explanation for that...

Oh, and why is there never a change log shown for Bandizip's updates? I've even had that problem on their site.

Thanks, Midas! My mistake; I kept looking in the Bandizip forum, rather than the Bandisoft announcements.
