Exiland Backup Free is a flexible file backup and folders sync software. It lets you easily copy your important files and duplicate your backups to various locations: local or network drives, FTP servers, or other removable media (such as flash drives or external HDD).

Commercial versions of the program are available with additional features.

USBFlashCopy backs up/synchronizes from external storage on the fly. The program runs in the background and copies all or select files from inserted media to a destination of your choice. Includes available copy throttle speed, minimum free space check to avoid filling up your drive, file filters, and can even be set to only copy from selected drives (by serial number).

New drives plugged in are prompted for a new copy profile and transfers include a progress bar. Ideal for people who do much of their work on remote computers and need to automate the process of backing up their files.

Functional in 64-bit. Note that fully transparent operations (no user notification; runs entirely in background) are only available in the registered version.

PortableApps.com Platform is an all-in-one tool for portable software download, management and updating. An included launcher shows nested folders organized automatically by function or favorite status, as well as a cascading app view on right-click of the tray icon. The program's appearance can be customized with transparency and several color, texture, and background options.

Other tools include a find-as-you-type search functionality, available cloud installation, drive error checker, backup/restore utility, portable fonts, automatic application closing on shutdown and more. The program can also work with portable software outside of the PortableApps format (see Extract instructions).

Functional in 64-bit and WINE, includes broad language support and proxy support.

Save2FTP is designed for an automatic online backup of your important data to remote FTP servers. It will help you organize your backups and schedule automatic backups. It supports inclusion and exclusion of files by wildcard mask as well as by exact file name, and keeps detailed logs of all backup operations. It includes a scheduler for unattended auto-backup and scheduling of any specific time or date, day of the week or month. It also allows you to create incremental backups so you only need to backup files that have changed.

Clibor is a feature-rich, customisable, and easy-to-use clipboard manager. It supports "set phrases" (possible to sort into groups and add memos) and changing of the format of the content within the clipboard history (regular expression of find and replace text, aligning similar pattern etc). The program offers different copy/paste modes (FIFO/LIFO), shortcut keys, incremental search, encryption (using a startup password), selection of multiple items, backup/restore and more.

The program can store up to 10,000 clipboard items.

CopyQ is a powerful clipboard manager that can handle text, HTML and images. It supports customizable global commands, quick browsing and pasting (including paste as plain text), always on top, tray control, themes, advanced command-line interface and scripting. AlephNote is extensible, lightweight desktop note manager. FolderTimeUpdate scans all files and folders under the base folder you choose and updates the 'Modified Time' of every folder according the latest modified time of the files stored in it.

This tool might be useful if, for example, you backup a cluster of folders and then restore them into another disk, but the backup program doesn't restore the original modified time of the folders.

SyncFolders supports 3 synchronization modes - Copy, Backup (Mirror) and Two-Way Synchronization on an unlimited number of files and folders. Other features include preview, file comparison by date and size or by content, integration with Windows task scheduler, filters, connections from or to UNC paths, multiple rules in a single rules file, and deleted or overwritten files can be moved to the recycle bin or to a time-stamped history folder. Back4Sure is a feature-rich backup solution for typical backup use. The program can make a backup to hard-disk, USB drive or network and can also be compressed using high or low compression settings to a ZIP or 7-zip file of various compression levels, as well as encrypted for security.

Other features include filters to backup or exclude specific file types, a cleanup mode to remove old archives, and creation of one or multiple zip files (separated by directory structure). Backups are saved by directory structure either inside the archive or inside the directory for easy restoring. Users can also use multiple settings profiles, or "job" files.

Beeftext is a text substitution tool that automates the entry of frequently-used text, functional in any application that supports copy/paste. Text automation is achieved via "combos," or a text snippet substituted via a user defined keyword that serves as a trigger for the snippet. These combos can be organized into groups or individually disabled.

Additional features include playing a sound on execution, automatic backup, export and import, pause, tray control and more.

MZCookiesView is an alternative to the standard cookie manager provided by Netscape and Mozilla browsers. It displays the details of all cookies stored inside the cookies file (cookies.txt or cookies.sqlite) in one table and allows you to save the cookies list into text, HTML or XML file, delete unwanted cookies and backup/restore the cookies file.

PortableApps.com AppCompactor allows you to compress whole directories including applications, file libraries and zip files. The program is a powerful compression tool that unites 7-Zip and UPX inside a user-friendly wizard. For applications, this saves disk space and increases performance when running from a slow media (like flash drives). For archives, this will recompress DLL, EXE, ZIP, JAR, IRC, PYD and BIN files to their maximum compression settings, as well as an option to decompress an app's binary files that were previously compressed with UPX.

All files are tested using UPX's test feature after compressing. Files smaller than 4K are automatically skipped as compressing will not save space on the drive. The standard Microsoft Visual C runtimes are skipped to prevent antivirus false-positives. Advanced configuration can be done with apps in PortableApps.com Format.

Note: As UPX will alter the EXEs and DLLs (reversible using the Decompress option in the AppCompactor) and some apps may have issues with Zip or Jar files compressed further, users should backup software and test it after processing.

Toucan is an advanced synchronization and backup tool with a variety of options including mirroring, incremental (only copy what's changed), encrypted, compression and many more. File sets can be added or excluded using name, size, date, or regular expressions.

Compression formats include ZIP or 7-zip, and all encryption uses standard AES 256. Includes command line tools and advanced scripting for automated / batch jobs.

Zback is a backup and synchronization tool with a small footprint.
