RClipStep is a clipboard manager emphasizing ease of use with a simple approach to cycling through stored clipboard items: when you paste Ctrl-V to paste, you can hold Ctrl and press V / C repeatedly to browse backward / forward through the clipboard entries.
The program also features multiple queues and can store clips to disk, convert clips to plain text, convert to upper/lower case, and paste clips into programs that don't use clipboard like window console (cmd.exe).
A 64-bit version is available (within the folder). Written in AutoIt

Arsclip remains my favourite clipboard manager. With the floating menu, its hard to beat. |
Save.me automatically and seamlessly saves everything (i.e. files, folders, graphics, texts, URLs, emails) you work with and gives you an easy way to organize it. Save.me is the peace of mind that is missing when you work on important documents, thesis, graphics and more. Save.me will help you manage, organize and remember.

Just downloaded what Portable Freeware says is version 2.0.1. File properties shows version 1.5.0.0. Running program shows version 2.0.2 Product site does not appear to give any version information.

AndTheWolf: You're correct that the file self-identifies as 1.5.0.0, but the program lists the 2.0.1 version number at the top of the window. Since the developer is active here in the forums, I'm going to assume we've got the right version and the file id bit wasn't intentional.

Very impressed by this program so far. Keep everything copied in one place and get details, thumbnails/preview about the copied file (or URL) so you can get context that you don't necessarily have with other copy managers. |
ClipTrap watches the clipboard and keeps track of copied text in its window.

For the sake of clarity, it should be noted ClipTrap isn't really a clipboard manager -- it's more like a clipboard drop basket, but it does what it says on the label... :)

Version 1.0.7's improved line endings is great for Notepad users! |
AutoClip Mini saves time by automatically adding any selected text to the clipboard. Pasting is also simplified by using the middle mouse button.
The program is a trimmed down version of the also-portable AutoClipX with fewer features.

Instructions were outdated (the screenshot still is): download installer, UniExtract, copy and rename the extracted {app} folder, create a 'config' sub-folder and place an empty 'config.ini' file inside... |
ArsClip remembers the most recent clipboard entries and allows you to quickly paste any of the entries into a program by pressing a hotkey (by default ctrl+shift+z). You can configure it to monitor both text and non-text clipboard entries, and you can create permanent items that are always present. There are also multiple ways for entering items into a program, including a "form mode" for pasting multiple fields in one step.

Great program -- took a little getting used to but the ctrl+shift+z has saved me a lot of time and energy with lengthy copy-and-paste proceedures. One small negative: I couldn't get the "Form Mode" tool to work. Its supposed to simulate a "tab" click after every paste so you can quickly enter in form information (name, address, date, etc).

I've used this heavily every day for several years. It's golden. Like most good software, there's a learning curve, but the flexibility and precision of this program rewards your effort.

Agree with Crid. Might have had some issues initially, but I use it regularly each day without issues. Its such a timesaver. And having the shortcut to pop up the menu is superb. Not seen any other clipboard utlities come close to this one. |
