@billon
The portable x64 version (Q-Dir_Portable_x64.zip) is available for download.

Mithril on 2016-03-27 20:53

Well, i found the solution myself. Don't know if this option is new or not but its the first time i noticed. So, when dragging files into another window or tab in Q-dir, at the bottom it says "Start drop in new process"! (and recycle bin and email aswell) ha! and just drop it on this button.. nothing will freez! magic :) Thanks anyway folks.
Q-dir is great.

The Q-Dir 64 installer 6.47 is not installing, last time there was also a problem with the 64 installer. They should be checking first before releasing the installer.

Version v1.0.3.1a (StackNotes_v1.0.3.1a.zip) is identified in VirusTotal as malicious by *22* scan engines!
I'm not going to use it until someone can explain this ...

I just keep trying and trying this App with my ToDos, but, it really scares the hell out of me. Every now and then I open that famous .stz file just to find out IT'S EMPTY AGAIN AND AGAIN. I really hope I'm the dumb ass that's missing something because this App surely promises productivity. I'd love to have synchronization and some color available for my categories of Tasks ToDo (like RED for Urgent and GREEN for completed, but... more colors)

smaragdus on 2017-05-26 00:37

@xor
Better report your problems at the forum, the developer usually responds to bug reports and other issues. Of course you are not dumb. Did you change the initial location of StackNotes folder- it remembers the location of the last used file.

What perplexes me about this program is its clandestine development. If one opens its history page:
http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~gakana/tablacus/history/
one will see that "Fix minor bugs" & "Minor changes" prevail but there are no details whatsoever about them.

xor on 2016-09-26 20:13

Usage of Tablacus suits me better than Q-Dir, but it started to suffer that typical 98% CPU wacko thing that chased me away, Q-Dir also continues to be buggy since XP up to Win10 at refreshing the folders tree after deletion, renaming, etc (some times). I'm started to get suited with Double commander although still missing Drag-Select.

ripu on 2016-10-14 14:42

@xor I am not sure if I understand you. But, refreshing in general spikes the cpu. If I am at the desktop, without opening any software and start hitting refresh, the cpu will be at 99%.
