AutoHotkey is a powerful automation and scripting tool with an option to export to a self-contained executable. Possible uses include assigning the hotkey "Ctrl-Alt-F" to launch Firefox, making abbreviations expand to their full definition as you type them, or saving time by setting the computer to auto-click a confirmation screen.
The program can create entire applications and has been used to create many hosted here on PortableFreeware including 7plus, WallPaper Randomizer, Gridy and many more.
Note: Though it's bit outdated (from 2021), Pulover's Macro Creator can be used as a macro recorder and includes an "Export to AHK" function.

Gridy adds an invisible grid on your desktop so that any window you move or resize is snapped to it. This helps maximize screen real estate by making windows placed adjacent to each other dynamically adjust to avoid overlapping.
Snapping to the grid is enabled with mouse drag or keyboard arrow keys. Gridy also lets you store and restore a window's size and position in up to 9 slots. This is useful for quickly arranging your windows in a convenient way. In addition, you can hide the window's Alt-Tab icon, and set any window semi-transparent or to "Always on Top."

So lucky to have this. My Lenovo machine has poor volume control buttons that frequently ignore input depending on what application is in focus. Volumouse meanwhile doesn't care: I have the left button + scroll wheel mapped to slowing increasing/decreasing the sound and the right button + scroll wheel mapped to mute and un-mute. Just excellent.

Despite being very handy Volumouse lacks very important feature for me - preset volume levels. I need 11 of them - 1 (100%), 1/2 (50%), 1/2^2 (25%), ..., 1/2^9 (0.195%) and 0. Now I found Volume2. Don't sure whether it can be completely registry-stealth or not (uses HKCU/Run for autorun), at least it saves Config.ini to its folder. |

KeyTweak is a simple utility that allows users to redefine their keyboard input signals by modifying the Windows registry. It can revert your layout to the default settings as well as warn you of some potentially dangerous modifications before they are put into effect.
Possible uses for this program (from the author): "Maybe you have an old keyboard and you really miss having a "Windows" key. Maybe you are used to using a different keyboard and you keep hitting the wrong key. Maybe you know that you are going to be doing a lot of numerical data entry and would like to change your Num Pad + key into a Tab key for a little while. How about changing Scroll Lock into a Mute button?"

WizMouse is a lightweight program that lets your mouse wheel scroll the window under the pointer, even if the window doesn't have input focus. Normal behavior requires clicking on a window to activate it before you can scroll it with your mouse wheel.
The program can optionally enable the mouse wheel in applications that don't support it by converting mouse wheel messages to scroll bar messages.
Other options include "reverse mouse scrolling" (like "natural scrolling" on Mac OS X Lion), and bringing the scrolling window to the foreground.

What is the "Control Send" method? This mode works now but where is this info being stored? (Where does it need to be deleted?)

ControlSend uses the AutoIt ControlSend function. ControlSend sends keystrokes to a certian control. It probably will not be detected by a keylogger but it might.

Lock State provides a simple, and customizable, on screen display in the lower right corner of the desktop to show the states of the NumLock, CapsLock and ScrollLock keys. When a lock key is pressed the OSD will appear, and a optional sound will play. Lock State can also lock the keys into their current states, so even if a lock key is pressed its state will not change. States can even be saved between sessions, so all states will be restored to what they were the last time Lock State was running.
Lock state is written in the AutoHotkey language.

X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC) allows you to set a variety of controls for your mouse. For example, you can set a button copy, paste, undo, volume up/down, forward-backward (in browser), scrolling background windows and many more.
Changes can be application-specific, meaning simply changing applications will automatically swap mouse controls, but they can also be user-managed and based on a hot-key. So your mouse can work as basic volume controls for your music player as well as back and forward buttons for your browser.
A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

Xpadder assigns keystrokes to your gamepad, giving you the ability to use your gamepad with any application you want (including older games with poor or no gamepad support such as DOS games). I just downloaded it using ignoremail. They record your IP address when you download the file, so spoof it if you don't want them to see it. But here's the problem with the software: the executable file opens, but there is no on-screen keyboard anywhere. I was ready to start clicking away to test the product, but there isn't even a keyboard to use. The program is pretty much useless. Even the link that it has so you can visit the homepage takes you to a completely different product. I don't know why this thing is even online.

Works well across MS Office applications, notepad apps (Notepad, Notepad++, etc), graphic apps like Paint.NET, Fotografix etc.
