This program have AutoIt source code and seem easy to convert to Autohotkey, I will try to improve it.

v2.0

Tested v1 and v2 version.

v2 crashes while moving or copying a link. This makes it necessary to edit the ini, where links are stored, to copy and move. (Probably also crashes with editing. Dit not test this)

v1 crashes only when editing a link. Since I almost never edit a link, I found this version usable in contrast to the v2 version. v1 is also faster in showing the menu.

v1 is still available on the creators website.

The website is still going. Must've been a server/hosting issue...

The link on this is down - seems like the website is no more...

Just found out about your software and downloaded TrayURL. I was then curious, and clicked at the bottom of the page, to go to Mike B's home page, flashed to one screen and then either a 403 or 404 error. When back to the page again to look for a contact method, found none. Dumbly clicked the home page link again with the same result. Thought Mike B would like to know

I found a couple bugs, but here are my easy workarounds that keep this one of my absolute top portable apps.

1. Switch between browsers by right-click, Options. If the browser is not listed there, download and use (once-only) autohotkey's or autoit's window revealer (forget the name) to identify your program. I successfully did so with a compiled autoit script I wrote last year.
2. I crashes if I edit a URL. I instead go to the Edit and Entry dialog, copy the URL into the clipboard, then move or delete the Entry and then Add it with the change, or
3. It is an .ini file, so any changes can be made with notepad.
4. To change the Maximum number of categories and items, you must edit the .ini file.
5. (new today) I just now decided to look for a ShellExec program so that I can use TrayURL with any registered document, and the one at naughter (http://www.naughter.com/shelexec.html) works well. Just put it in the Options Browser Executable box and tick Other (put in a title or it complains), and you can use it for any document

I was able to run the program occasionally. But I can't tell when it will work and when it won't work.
I also imported my bookmarks to category FF for Firefox but I can never access the FF URL's.
The potential is there and appreciate the effort from the author. But it needs bit more work.
Thanks.

this does not work - it fails when started when trying to create the ini file.
