Also note that virtually every new release updates some plugins, and version 4.65 is no exception. Most users may want to go to https://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm and download the 32- or 64-bit package, and dump them into the Irfanview Plugins subdirectory.

I notice in 4.67 that the OCR plugin is updated. It suggests using the Tesseract OCR, which I suspect is not portable. When I test it I will be looking to see if it can be made portable, and if it works with 32-bit Irfanview (there are a number of limitations with the 64-bit Irfanview so I am staying there).

It's a great app, I personally prefer it over Process Explorer.

Process Hacker is still being updated through so-called nightly builds: see forum topic or https://processhacker.sourceforge.io/nightly.php.

Though v. 13.93 is available here, at Portable Freeware, the MS site only has v. 13.91 . Is this version again being recalled by MS?

Besides, the package contains no less than 45 distinct files, including umpteen dll's, for a bloated total of 8.8MB, versus AngryIPscanner single 108KB *.exe.

After years of not being able to just drop-in a recent version of ffmpeg in Audacity's application folder, you can finally just do that.

Tried on recent version Audacity_x64 with ffmpeg_x64 (needs the shared builds) and it works! Just have to update location folder of ffmpeg on main gui.

NB: on the portableapps version I replaced the old ffmpeg binaries with new versions, and it works too.

FYI, Tunnelier has been renamed Bitvise SSH Client and the current third party PAF repack is v4.60 Rev 2.0 (see http://tp.vbap.com.au/download). The current upstream Bitvise SSH Client is v6.03 (changelog at http://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client-version-history). Both still freeware...

Hey, if you all use the installer, be careful! It has some very subtle "other" stuff bundled in there. Make sure you read every panel. "Other" stuff includes "Search Protect" and "Trovi Search" which changes your search pages and home pages. PUSH SKIP. There is another one that tries to install (but I can't get it to do it after cancelling the installation once) and you have to push "disagree" in order not to install it.

Installer do not contain ads as of version 0.9.7.

Seems like this doesn't work any more in Windows 10. Although apps portablised using it in previous versions of Windows still seem to work OK.

I have experience Molbox, but this is no longer supported. Then he switched to Boxedapp. These programs are very cool!
