For those of us who check these pages every day to see whats new, this program isn't categorized but from what I've read, I "assume" its a game. The description is very vague to those of us uninitiated.

It's really not a game but an emulator similar to Mame and others. You add ROM files and you can play older games on your PC. In this case it's an emulator for NES and Famicom based games. |

Smurf, that looks sweet, if it is portable I suggest this be added to database. (possibly as a replacement?)

I have updated the extraction instructions. Chris Morgan had pointed out that DOSBox is not portable if launched without any command-line switches. |
The program provides an easy, graphical environment for DOSBox (which runs a wide variety of DOS-based games on and programs modern hardware), helping with the management of program details such as configuration and tweaking.
The program also includes helpful configuration files and pre-sets for a variety of popular DOS games.
DOSBox is included in the installation.

Tried it today on WinXP SP3 PC with a Kingston 4 GB USB flash drive and a Linux image for eeePC. The experience was horrible. I choose to not create a virtual disk (in belief that all would be done in RAM). After the Linux image start execution my brand new USB was corrupted, no data, not readable in Windows. After formatting it reports only 0.9 GB instead of 4 GB. I have rescued it using some low level utility and make an experiment in order to know is the corruption caused by MobaLiveCD v2.1 or not. After the booted image reports disk writing immediately USB stick LED indicates a writing operation and the stick became corrupted again. What if someone starts such utility from HDD? Did my experience mean that this tool can corrupt HDD too?
