NetworkTrafficView v2.06

Eyes open wide as can be, can't seem to spot the new "IPNetInfo - Source IP" option displayed anywhere...;-(

Anyone else with a better eyesight cares double-checking ?

__philippe on 2017-04-26 21:41

Eyes open wide, but looking the wrong direction...:-(

The new option is indeed present and working as it should, available NOT under the likely "Option" tab,
but rather from two alternate locations :

• under the "File" tab
• in the context menu

Apologies for this unwarranted agitation.

@__philippe no thank you cause I couldn't find either lol, but I was able after you pointed me in the right direction :)

NetworkLatencyView v1.72

Andrew Lee on 16 May 2023
  • 189KB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 15 May 2023
  • Suggested by Checker

NetworkLatencyView listens to network connections on your system and checks for connection response time or "latency" (often called lag when very high). The program can view up to 10 addresses, their values and the average of all the connections. This is very similar to the results from pinging.

Works with TCP protocol connections and allows you to easily export the latency information to text/csv/tab-delimited/html/xml file, or copy the information to the clipboard and then paste it to Excel or other application.

Category:
Runs on:Win2K / WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Dependencies: Capture driver (WinPcap capture driver or Network Monitor driver v3.4 or later)
Stealth: ? Yes
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch NetworkLatencyView.exe.

Optionally, to view country/city information for every destination IP address ('Destination Country' column), download and extract the latests: or to the same folder.
What's new?
  • Added 'Sort By' toolbar button.

The instructions say:
2. Move all folders located in the $_OUTDIR folder to the main application folder.
I point out that there is no longer such folder. So I suppose this step can be omitted.

Can someone confirm this?

hamasaki on 2020-02-28 00:31

It's not stealth. It also creates the following:
C:\Users\***\.rainlendar2\rainlendar2.log
C:\Users\***\.rainlendar2\rainlendar2.ini

LiveTcpUdpWatch's "readme.txt" includes a noteworthy discussion about the fine points
of three similar, yet subtly distinct tools :

• CurrPorts
• NetworkTrafficView
• LiveTcpUdpWatch

__philippe on 2019-01-10 10:37

LiveTcpUdpWatch v1.12
Handy network traffic analysis tool, finely honing with age, merely lacking :

• "Remote Hostname" column, to pair with existing "Remote (IP) Address"
•  ICMP protocol capture capability

Would Nir oblige? Stay tuned till next episode...;-)

Everything v1.4.1.1024

Ennovy on 26 May 2023
  • 2MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 26 May 2023
  • Suggested by Drutt

Everything is a powerful search tool that locates files and folders by file name instantly, and includes an FTP and Web server interface. It also can search files by their contents. Unlike Windows search, Everything initially displays all files and folders on your computer. You simply type in part of the desired file name to limit what files and folders are displayed instantly. The more you type, the more specific the list becomes.

Note that the instant-search capability only works on NTFS/ReFS-formatted drives and only uses file and folder names in a file index. The program can separately catalog non-NTFS/ReFS and network servers for searching on a schedule.
