MultiCommander has a bug in log into other directories. I could not log into directories reliably. =( Check the directories you enter with MC!

Multi Commander unfortunately isn't stealth > creates MultiCommander-key in HKCU\Software. Could be triggered by some settings. Deleting apparently doesn't affect settings/functionality, but the key reappears on every start.

MobaXterm alternative: For a much more compact suite of Native Win32 port of stand-alone GNU utilities, *provided an X-Server is not required*, consider also
http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/

package download (3.36Mb):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unxutils/

The classic, finely honed, single-purpose Unix tools "cat | grep | head | tail ..." are all in there,
(all 118 of them), including the perennial soul-searching 'whoami' operator...;-)

Tested and found to be running fine under winXP. Recommended.

Is LameXP the only audio encoder that can convert opus files?

webfork on 2016-05-20 02:07

I converted something to Opus yesterday with LameXP but TEncoder and TAudioConverter will also do the trick.

neykhax on 2023-06-04 20:10

Lightweight audio encoder, with support for a large number of audio formats and a neat interface. I have been able to optimize hundreds of audio files with a good output quality and without having bugs or complications in the renaming of output file names that other encoders have in the batch convertion of multiple folders.
