I like this program best, since it allows multiple files at the same time, and supports a bunch of different formats, and is free.

Outstanding program. Drag-and-drop support, multiple file checks, and containing the three major checking algorithms. Very useful to evaluate a file as genuine and uncorrupted.

Hash could be really convenient if it allowed to suppress GUI and redirect output to /stdout/.

This entry needed a desperate clean-up and update. I've replaced the pak128 download link with the actual game and added a note about the graphics paks. The rest of the entry has been updated appropriately.

Downloading the smallest "graphics pak" which is: "Pak32 Comic" found here:

THEN renamE the folder from "pak32" to "pak" and delete/replace the original.

Remove all languages/fonts but the main one you speak/read (example: English for me with font "Prop-Latin1.bdf")

This will result in SMALLEST SIZE, current graphics game: unzipped, file "fixed" and UPX'ed (lzma) compressed size: 4.19mb

@ 4.19mb in on drive size; this is the most current (still being updated) simcity/open TTD like game that is will run on ANY PC current enough to have a USB port.

A lot of people here trying to delete multiples of the same image - I just wanted to give a shout out to Dup Detector, which is a great piece of software that does exactly that.

Dup Detector doesn't just do file-size/checksum analysis, it actually analyzes the images to find similarities. E.g. one could be black & white and the other can be color, or one can be watermarked, or one could be taken 2 seconds later because someone blinked & it'll find both and display them to you and ask which one you want to delete or if you want to keep both. You can choose how strict it is in its matching algorithm - 100% mach, 95% match etc.

You can even have it set up to automatically select which one to delete based on rules - e.g. the smaller one. Then you just approve the selection by hitting the space bar, or you can just let it do its thing automatically, or you can go full-manual mode and click the image you want to delete. Super fast way to delete duplicates and easy to use. I've used it professionally to manage large image catalogs that had a lot of duplicates of different sizes.

Unfortunately, it's not portable.

My mod is not completed yet as the majority of my time is spent writing my mod viewer (available from the stranded forums) but if you take the time to have a look at the mod viewer, you'll see why.

Again, many off the questions you guys have concerning gameplay are answered on the forums. You get the key for the locked crate when you progress in the adventure.

I know I keep banging on about the forums and I ain't even the creator,, but if it wasn't for the great community, I wouldn't have made my mod viewer.

Its the best non-horror type survival game ever!

Stranded 1 (only 9.5mb UPX packed!) & Stranded 2 are byte4byte the best 3d games there are.

Insane what fits inside 10mb with the unreal engine, I see current (dec 2020 )games that are NOT 3D 2x its size

A very nice and easy to learn game! The graphics are good and the whole package is polished off very well with the menus, music and sound effects.

Keeps crashing on a new Core Duo XP SP2 system.

3 times it failed to recognize a large straight. And, as far as I can tell, it's 1 player only.

Really I love this small, simple and nice player. Without unnecessary additions; without squandering resources (very important if you do not have a powerful machine or you need to run many programs at once)
I think it player does not need anything else, is perfect.

this software needs some bug-fixes.. sometimes when i close the apps the songs won't stop.

I love this player so much. The only prob I have is I can't remove a bunch of songs at once. I have to delete them one by one. Not even dragging works. I switch different bands frequently so it's really a pain in the ass if I want to remove 100 bands in the list and throw another set of bands. Overall, this player still rocks.
