Lost Labyrinth v5.2.1

Lost Labyrinth is a graphical rogue-like game with emphasis on exploration and character strategies. It offers a wealth of options during character generation to ensure plenty of versatility, which also gives the game nearly endless replay value. Each game is fairly short but has that "just one more time" feeling.

DoomRL v0.9.9.7

DoomRL is a fast-paced Rogue-like game that's heavily inspired by id Software's Doom. As with many Rogue-like games, graphics are represented with ASCii characters, but DoomRL uniquely incorporates sound as well.

What's new? This release is dedicated to NEW content. There are several new special levels paired with the old ones for greater randomness! Visit the Military Base, find Mt. Erebus or feel the dread of Limbo. Along with new special levels, there are new level generators and enhancements to the old ones.

For the pro-players, we have brand-new Dual-Angel and Archangel challenges (with a corresponding hidden Badge level), and Custom challenges for everyone. Be sure to also check out Gunrunner, the new Scout master trait!

Before playing this game, I hate graphics but after playing 30 minutes, I so like this game!

Great mini-game, very complete and exhaustive! Good job.

v0.9.9.6 is available. Since there seem to have been some major additions, I don't know if it is still portable.

Stranded II v1.0.0.1

Stranded 2 is an open-ended game about exploration and survival. Use just about anything you can find to build tools, shelter, weapons or even rafts. The more you do the more your skills grow, allowing you to do even more things or become more efficient at your current abilities. If you fish for most of your food you'll eventually learn to create special nets to automatically catch fish for you. If you harvest a great deal you'll learn how to plant herb gardens and eventually be able to plant new trees. Combine open-ended gameplay with the ability to play completely random islands or even generate your own and you've got a game that's sure to keep you busy for hours. Note that there is also a story mode to introduce you to the game (Bonus points for being able to tame a Velociraptor and ride it around while being stoned out of your mind).

what a treasure box cant open? how to open?

My mod is not completed yet as the majority of my time is spent writing my mod viewer (available from the stranded forums) but if you take the time to have a look at the mod viewer, you'll see why.

Again, many off the questions you guys have concerning gameplay are answered on the forums. You get the key for the locked crate when you progress in the adventure.

I know I keep banging on about the forums and I ain't even the creator,, but if it wasn't for the great community, I wouldn't have made my mod viewer.

Its the best non-horror type survival game ever!

Iter Vehemens Ad Necem v0.50

IVAN, short for Iter Vehemens Ad Necem, is probably one of the meanest rogue-like games out there. It uses graphical tiles instead of ASCII graphics, and also features all kinds of unique features, such as a fully functional locational damage system (losing limbs won't kill you, but it sure doesn't help), flexible character development environment, and a fluid system where you can track monsters by their blood trails.

Visit us at http://www.attnambananas.com (minus the bananas, for spambotty reasons), there's a forum out there, which is pretty much an "ultimate guide" :)

Cheers

O.K. so IVAN is the acronim for 'Iter Vehemens Ad Necem', but what does that actually mean please?.

Medicteddy on 2010-08-14 19:39

Iter Vehemens Ad Necem means something like 'The Violent Journey towards death' :P
