I used Ethervane ActiveHotkeys (http://www.tranglos.com/activehotkeys/)
but this application does not work correctly on 64-bit versions of Windows.

I only use this program once every 2 years but I'm SO glad I have it. I don't know of a similar program for other operating systems.

OW Shredder v6.45

billon on 12 Feb 2019
  • 2MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 1 Jun 2018
  • Suggested by I am Baas

OW Shredder erases files irretrievable by overwriting the affected file data blocks on the disk space, which prevents the reconstruction of the deleted documents. The program can wipe individual files, free disk storage, as well as entire disks or volumes.

The program includes basic disk usage analyzer, file unlocker, autostart manager and more.

Various erasing methods are available, with more iterations (wipes) taking longer to execute and potentially more secure.

If you only want to shut down a computer via RDP, click on an empty space of the desktop with the left mouse button and then hit [ALT]+[F4]. You will get all available options as you would locally.

"Yes, you can use the shutdown command via the commandline or you can click the taskbar and press Alt-F4, etc, but not everybody is comfortable using the commandline or remembers that hotkey."

Thanks. Ok, two problems for me with the software.

1. There is no sound at all. No problems with all other players on my comp, but this one no sound at all.

2. If I add a folder of MP3 files it adds the files ok, but if I use the option to add a file, the interface flickers and does nothing. I try again, flickers, then after a few seconds crashes.

I`m on Win 10 64Bit.
