AM-Notebook provides a way to store notes (rich text), formula-supported spreadsheets, to do lists, tasks, address book, calendar with alarm. The program works via a simple system tray utility, includes spellcheck, encryption, global search and tabbed view.

XAMPP is an integrated server package with mail, Web, FTP, and WebDAV. Named for Apache + MariaDB + Filezilla + PHP + Perl (AMPP) plus Mercury and Tomcat, the program includes a open software packages combined to power the various services, including JSP Java, OpenSSL, and more.

SideSlide is a desktop extension that docks to any screen edge. It allows you to store your favorite RSS feeds, shortcuts to files/folders/URLs, notes, reminders etc. in "containers" that you can arrange, shrink and fold in the workspace. CintaNotes is a tag-based, text-only personal notes manager for collecting bits and pieces of information such as thoughts and ideas, article excerpts, quotes, research etc. A global hot key (by default Ctrl-F12) clips pieces of text from other applications such as web browsers or any local program. The window title becomes title/subject of the note and the highlighted text selected becomes the body.

The program is useful to quickly take down and tag any piece of useful text that you come across and quickly organize by date, keywords, title, link and note size. A search tool searches the entire database with search keyword highlighting.

Note: Some features limited to a "pro" version include tabbed sections, pasting notes into other apps, hierarchical tags and multiple notebooks.

OutWiker is a personal wiki and outliner with notes stored in a tree view, similar to directories on a disk. Plain text, HTML, and wiki format files are supported with pages capable of being linked to each other. Each tree branch can be opened as a separate wiki. Other features include tag support, global search (notes and tags), bookmarks, HTML syntax highlighting, and icons for notes.

The program includes many functional skins, able to record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications and control your media player all in a clean, unobtrusive interface.

Zim is desktop Wiki system that lets you maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for version control.

Zim can be used to:

Stickies work like customizable post-it notes with available styles, fonts, colors and buttons. Notes can be resized or snapped to the edges of other notes to keep them lined up. They can also act as reminders when hidden for a period, until a specified date and time, even upon waking every day, week, or month.
