I cannot arrange the icons in the workspace. They insist on jumping into a hierarchical order with indenting that I don't want. I just want to list the icons all left-justified in alphabetical order. That should be the easiest thing in the world, but it is not easy with this software.

Don't waste your time.

Frustrated: if you can't use it, why shouldn't other people try it? I don't have any of the problems you describe and the program works flawlessly. oh, and it's free.

Well, I haven't really had a look at this one, but it seems to me that it can't really be classed as 'Portable' because it relies on 'MSXML6'. Since you can't guarantee that all the PC's you might run this on from your pendrive will have 'MSXML6' then it's not really portable, is it?.

If you read the website the only reason for MSXML would be for RSS feeds. Everything else should work fine therefore it would still be portable.

That is an excellent, innovative program

Pos up only when needed. Wonderful Man...

Admin privileges are needed. Because of that I never got to try.

Newest version is 3.0 beta3. Is it still stealth?

To arrange the icons in the workspace, you have to select them all with the mouse, then move them anywhere else. They will left-align and a sorting menu will appear.
This program is nice looking, original, but needs a lot more polishing. Let's keep an eye on it.

Tried it in Win 7 .I have package it with Cameyo and the uninstalled it from my computer. It does work great in virtualization. No problems whatsoever. I will try it on another computer to see how portable is it.

Version 3.5 is available.
Changelog: "Installation now includes a portable option to install SideSlide directly to an external drive. "

The download link has led--all day today--to a page that rambles on about "CPU usage limit exceeded". Hard to believe someone can't put up a usable link to their software.
