Great little utility. I regularly have a lot of zip files I need to move to different locations. This is a real timesaver. |
nPOPuk is lightweight yet feature-rich e-mail client. Features include multiple saveboxes, additional mail filtering options, basic viewer for HTML-only messages and option to send them to an external program (web browser), option to quote only portions of a message when replying/forwarding etc.
It's a supposedly improved version based on nPOP's original source code, although the latest nPOP is much newer.

@Orcus: since it is now duplicated to the forum topic, you could delete that long post of yours by clicking in the garbage bin icon to the right -- after copying and pasting it to an amended new comment with the forum URL, for example... |

It can also recover passwords from damaged Windows installations and many applications supporting FTP, POP3 and SMTP protocols, even if the program is not yet supported.
Although the website is in Polish, the program supports 9 languages (including English).

Why is MailPassView listed as a Similar/alternative app? MailPassView's function is much narrower. It only recovers passwords from email clients, and does not look for product keys. recALL recovers passwords from many different classes of program and also finds license keys. You don't even put the two programs in the same category. You have recall listed under Security - Product Key Recovery, while you have MailPassView under Security - Password Recovery. |
IPNetInfo is a small utility that allows you to easily find all available information about an IP address: the owner of the IP address, the country/state name, IP addresses range, contact information (address, phone, fax and email) and more. This utility can be very useful for finding the origin of unsolicited mail.
Optionally, add CurrPorts to the same directory to resolve information of the remote IP address via the right-click context menu.

IPNetinfo v1.90 notable new function: |
HotKeyz allows you to define system hotkeys like "WIN+F" for a wide variety of actions from executing applications to a long list of system actions. By default, it features settings for minimizing, maximizing, restoring, or closing the active window. You can launch your e-mail window to compose a new email, control WinAmp-compatible players without opening the main window, or paste pre-defined text, special characters, or the current date and time.
System functions include opening and closing your CD or DVD ROM drive, power off, shutdown, logoff or rebooting. Start your screen saver, hide/unhide your desktop, taskbar, and more.

Don't like mess with programming much then use HotKeyz as it's much easier than AutoHotKey but if you want more powerful ways of handling not only shortcuts, but also the Windows themselves and a bunch of other things, use AutoHotkey.

It is a shame that HotKeyz has been discontinued without being made open-source. I still like it very much and still use it every day- it is very easy to configure. HotKeyz still works fine on Windows 8. |

PopMan is great but unfortunately it seems to be abandoned. There is one thing I don't like about it- PopMan doesn't support Unicode. |
Opera Settings Import and Export Tool allows backup and restore of bookmarks, mail, contacts, sessions, preferences, etc. and enables easy transfer of them between Opera installations in different folders or operating systems.
The program can find all profiles on your system, useful when searching for "lost" profiles, and then allows preview before importing or exporting. Additionally you can cleanly transfer individual settings and store settings files in their original state so exported settings can always be manually restored.
Also available for Linux.

webfork: Because it's their preferred portable build. Not everyone will need the full package. The lite / portable build should be sufficient for people building a website for testing locally and on the go.

Just for clarification, is the full version portable? Because the only version labelled "portable" at the download link appears to be the lite version, without FTP or Mail.

It should be mentioned, that eToolz requires NET3.5 - I think since version 3. It does NOT run on Windows 8 and higher with the integrated NET 4+, if the optional NET3.5-package is not installed! |
