SoftPerfect Network Scanner is a feature-rich, multi-threaded network scanner to find and identify network resources. Includes IP, NetBIOS and SNMP, can ping computers, scans for listening TCP ports, and shows what types of resources are shared (including system and hidden). In addition, it allows you to mount shared resources as network drives, browse them using Windows Explorer, filter the results list and more.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

How to extract:
  1. Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice
  2. Select either 32-bit or 64-bit folder (depending on your OS)
  3. Launch the program by using "netscan.exe /ini" or "netscan.exe /xml"

Use .xml config instead of .ini.

I was using v5.4.8 with netscan.ini config file. The v6.0.5 ignored the netscan.ini and created netscan.xml in C:\Users\\Documents folder. Switches /xml or /ini did not help. I had to copy netscan.xml from Documents to the folder where netscan.exe was, to make the settings portable (window title should have "[PORTABLE MODE]" appended to it).

DzejPy: verified. However, if you just click "Ok got it" in that image, it goes away and doesn't come back. Think we can let the adware notice slide for the moment.

@ mukhi - Could your AV or FW program be blocking the download or the download site? Have you been able to download other files with no issue?
