Dana is a skinnable, single-server IRC client. Very light and "barebones," Dana is great for users that just want to chat on IRC, but will leave more advanced users searching for a more capable client.
Note: Official website has been offline since 2011. Linking to archive.org (thanks lastaltoid).

v1.4
It's safe, but without Unicode support, a chat software almost useless.
Anyone have a anternative ? I really want a portable IRC Software with file size smaller than 1MB, also support Unicode(very important).
V1.4
Also warning is McAfee, Avg, Sophos, Symantec and Trendmicro.
This is for version 1.4 of the program btw.
Windows 7 defender springs in to action as soon as you download this, saying its a dangerous program which should be deleted. This is both the zip and exe versions.
neat little app. Very slimmed down. though, it doesn't support a lot of the default / aliases that mIRC and other IRC clients do.
I think the website offline notice will be plenty of warning on it's own. It might be useful for someone that wants a very low resource usage IRC client in a closed network (you never know).
