File Sieve is a small tool that can take the files from a directory and copy or move them into a new folder, while creating subfolders from A-Z and sorting the files into them based on their name (first letter). The program can come in handy if you want to organize files for archiving, or to put them on a CD.

How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch FileSieve2.exe.
What's new?
  • It is now possible to have the Destination directory listed as a source directory. The implications of this, if utilised, is unknown.
