Disk Redactor erases all free space on any hard disk or flash memory storage, preventing deleted files from being recovered.
Note: Disk Redactor does not scramble the filenames, so they can still be read by recovering applications, even if the file content is wiped out.

Would the lack of filename scrambling fool a recovery tool into classing the file as in good condition?
I've run this several times over my drives and Recuva, Undelete plus, Restoration and Pc inspector file recovery are all picking up thousands of "deleted" files in good/excellent condition
Doesn't work. Recuva was able to recover every file.
No longer portable.
The ini file for the settings is stored in the application data folder
