Web Design Toy provides a split-window view where you can type HTML code into the left editor window and instantly preview the output in the right display window. It supports CSS and tables, and even works for images stored in the same folder. Although the right-click context menu does not support copy/paste, you can do so via the Ctrl/Shift-INS key combinations.

Runs on: | Win95 / Win98 / WinME / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP |
Writes settings to: | Windows registry. It stores the window size/position as well as most recent HTML code entered. I am accepting it as portable because it is probably going to be used as a HTML learning companion, or to preview some tricky HTML code, so the stored values have no significant impact on portable use. |
Unicode support: | No |
License: | Freeware |
How to extract: | Download the EXE file to a folder of your choice. Launch web-design-toy.exe. |
