WinUpdatesList displays the list of all Windows operating system updates (e.g. Service Packs and Hotfixes) installed on your local computer. For hotfix updates, files updated with these hotfixes are also listed. The program includes official Microsoft links for selected updates and ability to uninstall an update.

You can copy the update information to the clipboard or save it to text/HTML/XML file.

WinCrashReport provides an alternative to the built-in crash reporting program of the Windows operating system. When an application crashes in your system and displays a message, WinCrashReport can provide an extensive report. The crash report is displayed as simple text or in HTML, and includes crash memory address, exception code, exception description, strings found in the stack, call stack, processor registers, modules list, threads list, and more...

The program is useful for developers to find problematic software or to help find workarounds.

Portable Update helps machines run system updates from Microsoft. The program works to download updates independently for later installation, increasing stability and overall security.

This is useful in many circumstances including:

• A slow or absent network connection due to location, inability to connect to proxy, or security concerns
• Planning ahead to quickly update a new / freshly formatted computer
• Provide greater control over the update process

InstalledDriversList lists all device drivers that are currently installed on your system. For every device driver, the following information is displayed: Driver Name, Display Name, Description, Startup Type, Driver Type, Driver Group, Filename, File Size, Modified/Created Time of the driver file, and version information of the driver file.

If the driver is currently running on Windows kernel, the following information is also displayed: Base Memory Address, End Address, Memory Size, and Load Count.

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes and displays the information about all crashes in one table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the date/time of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters) and the details of the driver or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file description and file version).

This program is useful for both developers and non-programmers to determine both the cause and possible workarounds for major crashes.

Closeout is a very simple program that, upon running, immediately closes all open programs. A set of exclusion rules can be set so some windows are ignored (see included readme file).

Cut Long Names lets you search and rename files that have a path or name longer than 150 to 255+ characters.

Too Long Paths Detector (TLPD) is designed to tackle the 'path name too long' issue for path length limits of 255 characters. As Windows can't handle files and folders beyond that length, the program scans the directory tree, looking for files and folders with full path name longer than a specified threshold, and then alerts the user. For administrators, TLPD can also work in silent mode, with the results stored in a log file. No limitations on file system types.

Functional in 64-bit.

Quick Config is a powerful and convenient tool aimed at saving or changing various settings to a custom profile. This is useful for resetting any changes to a single computer or for multiple computers that all need to have similar network, sound, or video options. The program will work as a very basic backup system for listed system settings (saved to its own XML file) that can then restore a machine or be transferred to another computer.

Available changes include setting local and network shares printers, sound scheme and volume, registry entries, services, run specific programs, change browser and email defaults. Changes can be applied in part (on each section select "apply now") or in whole (from the main window).
