KeePass is a password manager that helps you store and manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database locked with a single master key or a key file. The database is encrypted using the AES algorithm and the program includes a strong automatic password generator, expire dates, customized icons and categories and much more.

The program supports favorites, hot keys, hardware acceleration, and auto-mount options. VeraCrypt is based on the inactive TrueCrypt, attempting to solve some of the program's documented weaknesses. The program can open and convert TrueCrypt volumes.

Strong Passwords Need Entropy is entropy calculator, password's strength and survivability checker and a strong password generator. The program analyzes your password and displays statistics about its length, character frequency, symbols, lowercase+uppercase letters, and digits. Based on this information, it calculates the password entropy, or the number of trials needed to find it and the time to crack the password.

Note that this analysis doesn't take into account "dictionary attacks" or use of words. For example, "ambassadorconjure" is long but not necessarily hard for a computer to guess.

Bandizip is an archive tool that supports a customisable interface, the searching of archives by file name, file splitting, password protection, self-extracting archives and varying levels of compression. It supports the creation and extraction of most common compression formats, as well as modern formats ZIPX and 7Z.

The program's "High Speed Archiving" function will allow you to compress or bypass the files its own algorithm on multimedia files (AVI, WMV, MP3...) or archive files (ZIP, RAR, 7Z...) that won't benefit from additional compression. POP Peeper is an email notifier that alerts you when you have new email on any of your accounts (IMAP [including uploads], POP3 and Webmail, but also RSS with a commercial plugin). You can also send emails using SMTP or through Webmail directly from POP Peeper. Having OAuth support, it can be used with accounts that require it instead of a password.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a skinnable, feature-rich email, calendar, task and instant messaging client with support for plugins and many protocols. It comes with advanced search tools, message filtering, Bayesian spam detector, built-in spell checker, mailbox compression and many more. Program features can be extended with add-ons, including a specialized version of email encryption tool GPG.

Email protocols include SMTP, POP3, IMAP (including uploads, albeit a date issue), NNTP and RSS and chat support for IRC, Twitter, XMPP, Google Talk, and Matrix. Also supports OAuth for use with accounts that require it instead of a password.

Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition is a special build licensed by Mozilla. Alternatively, X-Thunderbird is also available. For XP/Vista, version 52.9.1 is available here.

RockXP lets you retrieve the product keys for a variety of Microsoft products. The program allows changing your Windows XP serial, as well as many view other OS-internal login/passwords including XP login, HASH, Windows Protected Storage, and Remote Access Settings. ThunderbirdPassDecryptor is a tool that recovers the stored mail account password by Mozilla Thunderbird. You can also use it to recover the Thunderbird account passwords from another system (i.e. a backup or profile folder).

Note:

• If a "master" password is set, other passwords are not accessible without it. The publisher offers a command-line FireMaster to try and brute-force the protection. Strong passwords (15+ characters) are not worthwhile to brute-force.
