Registry Tweaker is a powerful application that allows you to access many obscure registry tweaks easily. http://www.registrytweaker.net/ --> domain for sale. The website and download links should be changed to Lupo as above. Softpedia has the same build on their site (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Registry-Tweak/Registry-Tweaker.shtml) but I'm not sure if Lupo's is different.

Very handy, I assume it would be if it worked anyway.

All I'm getting from it is "Thank you for using HFT 1.03, please re-download it from ......"

I downloaded another copy thinking mine ,might have been corrupted but I still get the same response.

Version 1.4 works.
Looks pretty good so far.
I don't think it's going to drag anyone away from their favourite explorers though

Agree with user "Local": a promising software but very behind in terms of features and capabilities of similar tools here on PortableFreeware.

This can't be stealth. Every time I log into my comp, Opentalk launches itself. It's not in Startup-folder, thought. I have XP.

Don't waste your time on this program.

My experience with OpenTalk:
Downloaded it fine (from a very dodgey looking homepage). Installed fine.
Ran fine.
Unable to register an account.
Error says I've registered 29 accounts out of a maximum of 5 "on this computer" and to contact support.
Unable to find any way to contact support.
Re-checked website & program for any hint of a "support" link; found none.
Checked Softpedia's page for OpenTalk. Found it was last malware checked several years ago and there is 2 negative comments, no positive ones.
Checked TPFC's page for OpenTalk. Found 8 comments, 7 of them negative.
Uninstalled OpenTalk.
Ran malware scans.

@jimdorey: I'm a little confused why we had a listing that this works with Win10 -- it really doesn't. When this version of the program stopped being developed, Win7 wasn't even out yet. Anyway, I recommend trying another software package for that OS. I've updated the entry.

joby_toss on 2016-06-02 11:49

@jimdorey: v5.3 works fine on my win 10 x64 using a 1080p screen resolution. Maybe you're using a high DPI screen/4k monitor, and only the last version (8.4, payware, but worth every penny) works fine in that case.

you guys are retards, ive tried it and it is better than vlc or mpc, imo, and I haven't encountered any problem whatsoever with it

I compressed all binaries with upx --lzma and I was able to reduce it to 18mb

Since rulesPlayer and SMPlayer are essentially the same thing, how do they compare to each other, what's different (besides the interface), which is more feature filled and stable?

Sumotori Dreams v1.02

Sumotori Dreams is more of an exercise in creating self-balancing characters than it is an actual game, but the utter hilarity involved makes this little gem worth keeping. While it offers little to no gameplay value it delivers something no other game can: a physics simulation of two incredibly drunk people shoving each other and trying to stand up after falling over countless times.

[...]How to extract: Download the installer and install to the default location. Move all files except UnWoP.exe to a folder of your choice.[...]

O.O This is not the intention of an installation program ;) of course you can choose the installation destination within the installer ;)

btw. the system requirements are a bit higher than quake3 due to the fact that we really max out that engine ;)
i´d recommend at least a P4 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM and a Geforce4 Ti4200 - this way you can play fine in the default GFX settings.

regards, smiley

Fisty on 2007-04-13 16:26

Smiley: Yeah, you can choose where to install it to. However, this site is for "portable" programs. If you install something, its not exactly "portable."
If you install the program, copy the files, then uninstall, then you can (possibly) have a portable installation you can use off of a USB drive or portable HDD (as long as no registry entries are written, etc).

As I far as I can tell moonedit is the only portable/standalone collaborative editor you can find. Others I've found require runtimes (gtk, bonjour, java) to be installed.. so in short, this is the one.

smaragdus on 2014-09-05 02:17

Although MoonEdit was abandoned long time ago, it still works fine on Windows 8 and one of its funniest and nicest aspects is that it can be used as a messenger.
