v.1.75 portable - windows xp 32 SP3 - I get the following message which is : The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
Previous versions until 1.74 worked fine.
XnConvert does not support XP anymore?
Greetings

@ Zeke the Frog

Nope.. i installed Visual C++ on my system for Rainmeter.
still does not work for me.

i also tried adding the dependencies with no success.

Can't figure it out.
I just use the x32bit version.

I restored my win7 X64 computer to out-of-box state (pre sp1) and it still would not open the 64 bit xnconvert, so I'm guessing it needs the visual c++

@ joby_toss:

im a Windows Enthusiast :P

i just did a clean install of Win7 Ultimate SP1, so i know there are no corrupted files. It's probably related to M$ Visual C++ not being designed for SP1.

Im content with using the x32Bit. I keep forgetting that this is portable, and will no see any performance gains with the x64Bit version.

Thanks for your help.

I believe some .dll files of yours are corrupt. Run as administrator the cmd prompt, type: sfc /scannow. Reboot when finished.
Also, check to see if you have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) package. There is a url linc for this in XNConvert x64 zip package.
Hope it helps!

yep.. i just tested the x32Bit version, it works very well on Win7/64. Great software, i love the huge list of supported formats. Not many image software can handle .ico, or convert to .ico, this can. Definitely a keeper!

Great Addition, i wish the x64Bit version worked.
