@Sinchu

From the dev:

"This sounds like windows marked the dll files as untrusted.

Try going to the properties dialog of each file (right-click -> properties) and clicking the unblock button."

Someone else on the forum said that using 7-Zip to extract the ZIP worked for them.

PAFuser on 2021-01-09 09:43

Looks like a great program, but I have tried for almost a year to get it to load without success. Followed every instruction, only error messages. Never loads.

webfork on 2021-01-09 13:12

@PAFuser: This program is in active development and the dev is fairly responsible if you want to drop him a note about your experiences. I've stepped away from using this program due to what I hope are some sync issues with the SimpleNote service.

I reckon there should be a mention somewhere in the entry's description that Atom is based on (in fact, is like the ur-deployment of) the Electron framework [https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_(software_framework)! Broken URL, please copy excluding the exclamation, paste and amend].

Maybe mention in props, that alternative is CudaText.

Not if you make changes and save with a password.

The advantage of Crypditor: it can handle more than one textfile. And it works with Vista.

infestedtassadar-x17 on 2008-12-27 22:26

This program saved a few of my documents to plane text (document was saved at the end of the file.) Not sure if I am just using a password that's too long. Check it with Notepad++

fsekrit is a good program also but doesn't have tabbing
