The instructions say:
2. Move all folders located in the $_OUTDIR folder to the main application folder.
I point out that there is no longer such folder. So I suppose this step can be omitted.

Can someone confirm this?

hamasaki on 2020-02-28 00:31

It's not stealth. It also creates the following:
C:\Users\***\.rainlendar2\rainlendar2.log
C:\Users\***\.rainlendar2\rainlendar2.ini

Would it work with Windows 7, 32 bits version ?

"Desktop Calendar and Desktop Info appear to be attached to the desktop and technically they are. However they still disappear when you click the "Show Desktop" button in the Quick Launch toolbar. This is correct behaviour according to Windows; it's just very annoying. Presently, there's nothing you can do about this."

Perhaps not as easy or up-to-date, but I'm really satisfied with Walcal; I have been using it for years and it's portable (writes settings to ini).

Info and download @ http://www.blahblah.se/software/Downloads.html

From site: "WalCal create a static calendar on your current wallpaper. Once it has created the calendar it is not needed to keep it running. This way i[t] will, obviously, not consume any CPU or memory. The program uses a copy of the current wallpaper, this way it does not destroy the original wallpaper."

@ Midas: Thanks, I added Walcal to the database.

@davidroper

A mere seven years late, ...and counting....;-)

The 161 files included in the "tclocklight-040702-3.zip" package are mostly source modules kindly provided by the developer for the benefit of DIY hackers.

For basic execution, only the following files are required:

• TCLOCK .EXE 44544 09/07/2004 17:16 A--- tclock.exe
• TCLOCK .INI 1024 10/20/2016 15:09 A--- tclock.ini
• TCDLL~1 .TCL 48128 09/07/2004 17:16 A--- tcdll.tclock
• TCLANG .TXT 8234 06/10/2004 11:58 A--- tclang.txt
• TCMENU .TXT 477 05/09/2004 21:53 A--- tcmenu.txt

All the same, a nifty, teensy configurable clock utility, sitting pretty in WinXP system tray...;-)

IMHO, given the amount of fixes and updates and the fact that it retained portability, this entry should be updated to point to T-Clock Redux (Beta)...

Thanks, IaBaas, for posting this. May I suggest contacting the developer about that issue? I'm sure he'd pleasantly surprised by our interest. Thanks again.
