WARNING: this no longer comes as a direct download of the zip, but as an executable downloader which downloads the zip, but in the process you have to decline installation of about four different annoyanceware toolbars and addons. Also the downloader itself is not portable; it leaves folders in AppData.

When you click the download link, a page opens with the download, just un-check the "Use our download manager and get recommended downloads" box. You'll get the zip file that you want. My Avast keeps blocking the site/file so I just disabled. After download I checked using VirusTotal and comes up clean.

ColorCop v5.3

  • Suggested by risk

ColorCop allows you to magnify any part of your screen and pick a color from it using the eye dropper tool. The magnifier supports 1 to 16x zoom, and the eye dropper tool can pick an average color from a 3x3 or 5x5 area instead of sampling only a single pixel. The picked color can be easily exported to various formats required by HTML, Delphi, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic or Visual C++ etc.

Note: versions newer than v5.3 are no longer natively portable (see "What's new?" button above), because they leave traces in the system; as the license doesn't forbid redistribution, TPFC is making the natively portable v5.3 available for download.

It also will retrieve the "powerbuilder" formatted colour codes. I needed those values for manually editing the styles.xml settings for TreeDBnotes.

WinPenPack launcher for 5.4.5: http://www.winpenpack.com/en/download.php?view.1070.

One could make a yaP config fairly easily as well.

Great app. I like playing with desktop customization. Sometimes windows title bar just goes off the screen especially when I move the taskbar to the top of the screeen, and I can't move the window at all. This app really helps much.

I like KDE Mover-Sizer more. It is written in autohotkey and you can change the code - for example, I added a shortcut for keeping the active window on top of the others.

If you like fiddling and often have nothing to do while sitting at the pc then this is for you.

With a range of between 6v and 25 point puzzles it will keep you going for ages and it's just plain fun.

An added bonus you can probably fit most of the games on the authors site onto a floppy disk if you're really pressed for timewasting space

Very enjoyable.
