It's classic Sonic gameplay but it also incorporates elements of another classic game, The Lost Vikings, where you have to switch control between three characters to overcome a level's obstacles.

This game is so well-made you'll swear it's from Sega. Lots of fun, too!

You should remove this since it's not immediately portable.

@Fire The Fox: Arcade! was last released back in 2013, so what's the problem? Or should we just trust your word?

actually Space Invaders is much easier than the arcade version, must be the difficulty level is turned down to normal. I never got past 10,000 points on the arcade version but got almost 200k with this one. Space Invaders is also the most playable of the available games, with just a keyboard

if so it would take about a week or so to finish, because two dialup modems dont go good together.

Great game! Tempest was my all-time favorite when I was a kid. I used to love getting up to the invisible levels, playing for like 1/2 hour on a single quarter :P (not like today's arcade games where it's like a dollar a minute...)

Can anyone suggest though a controller for this game, though? I can't deal with the mouse-- this game needs a full 360 "paddle" like the original game to really play it properly. Just not the same otherwise. Anybody know of something like this that would connect to the computer? (and would the game recognize it?)

Theres a new Version!! 1.1 ^^

This game is loads of fun if you're a shooter fan. It's a little on the frantic side with some curtain-style projectile dodging, but it's got a good mix of ship options to suit anyone's preferences, and lots of content.

I have to admit I tried this game without realizing you could change the screen size, it did seem to play nicer when squinting at a 2inch box =)
It seems a great game though, I only unlocked to more ships so far though ;'( I'm crap at it
