ColorSchemer ColorPix is a simple color picker that gives you RGB, HEX, HSB, and CMYK values that can be copied with shortcut keys or single left mouse click. It has a collapsable magnifier (max. 28x) and can stay on top of other windows.
UPDATE NOTE: As any change in version number re-lists the program on the front page, this program has been listed as if there was an update. However, this program has not been updated since its initial entry into the database. This is merely the result of fixing the version number (was 1.2 and was edited to 1.1).

Hi Infimum :-) |
ColorCop allows you to magnify any part of your screen and pick a color from it using the eye dropper tool. The magnifier supports 1 to 16x zoom, and the eye dropper tool can pick an average color from a 3x3 or 5x5 area instead of sampling only a single pixel. The picked color can be easily exported to various formats required by HTML, Delphi, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic or Visual C++ etc.
Note: ColorCop V5.4.5 is no longer portable (writes settings to user profile folder). Since its license does not prohibit redistribution, I am making V5.3 available for direct download.

Pixie is a utility made especially for webmasters and designers with the ability to simply point to a color and get the color's values in HEX, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV. You can then use these values to reproduce the selected color in a wide variety of programs. Pixie will also show the current coordinates of your mouse pointer.

I have been on the authors' website and would suggest another application of theirs. It is a nice small gadget (I would not define it an utility, since it is actually unuseful, even if I really enjoy it) that emulates the souind on an old-fashioned typewriter. If you started typing texts with such machines (before PC's sent them to the museums) you will love it. Its name is Qwertik.
