7plus adds a variety of features to Explorer including default window handling and many small tweaks for ease-of-use. Includes a copy-and-paste method for both text and images as their own file on the desktop, a de-clutter "slide" feature to push Windows out of view, navigate to your favorite folders with numpad keys, keep windows always on top, etc. Additionally, the program allows you to quickly upload files via FTP from explorer with a single hotkey.

As an additional information, 7plus supports running in portable mode by running it with "-portable" command line. Admin permissions are requested on startup by default, but 7plus will also run without them and you can disable the elevation dialog in the settings, at the cost of some missing features.
V2.3.0
It's me again, just wanted to tell you about the newest version released today, which features a program launcher like Launchy/Exekutor with many integrated plugins, among other things.

@Chris
Thanks for taking the time to find this website and reply (and especially developing 7plus)!
Yes, admin right requirement is undesired. This website is The Portable Freeware Collection, a database of portable applications and a community of portable software enthustiasts. See the following Wikipedia article if you don't know what portable software is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_application
I personally have a copy of 7plus in my external hard drive and would like to have 7plus running all the time I'm using ANY Windows computer. But, all school computers have Windows 7 installed. And I only have admin rights on a tiny minority of them. That is, due to the requirement I'm mostly UNABLE to use 7plus.
I may test the Autohotkey_L option later. I think additional portability is worth the effort. :/
But I'd prefer if there were an option to disable all features which require admin rights, so that it'd be easier to use 7plus on limited accounts. (hint, hint) :)
I'm the author of this tool. Administrator rights are required for adding FastFolder buttons to explorer bar.
If this is undesired, it is possible to use the sources version with Autohotkey_L. This version does not require administrator rights.
@Henry: Confirmed. The entry needs editing.
this tool needs admin rights under Win7 (bug / feature / other reason ?)
Under WindowsXP everything works normally ...
First, thanks Chris for such a complete piece of software. It makes a lot of thigs easier to many of us. For feedback I keep getting the "No file access to settings files in 7Plus directory. 7Plus will not be able to store settings." error when running from command line with -portable argument on version 2.5.0. (both x86 and x64). This issue appeared fixed on hithub, but seems to remain. Thanks for your time.
