Everything is a powerful search tool that locates files and folders by file name instantly, and includes an FTP and Web server interface. It also can search files by their contents. Unlike Windows search, Everything initially displays all files and folders on your computer. You simply type in part of the desired file name to limit what files and folders are displayed instantly. The more you type, the more specific the list becomes.
Note that the instant-search capability only works on NTFS/ReFS-formatted drives and only uses file and folder names in a file index. The program can separately catalog non-NTFS/ReFS and network servers for searching on a schedule.

In case it does not remembers sort order, you have to edit 2 lines in Everything.ini:

This is a great program. I've found very helpful tracking down misplaced or seemingly lost files. |
Directory Lister lets you list all or selected files you have in selected folders on your storage units into text, csv or html file. You can choose: which items to list (subdirs, size, date, time, attribs, directory names, directory size, full path, crc32 value); which directories to be included; sort options; selection mask (e.g.: *.mp3). It is possible to generate lists for each processed folders, to load and save personalized settings, and to list files from command line (for FTP owners).
Note: Main site only offers a commercial version so we are linking to a mirror of the last available freeware version (thanks Lupo).

@vmars: that is true... but also old news. If read the Note at the entry's end, you'll notice TPFC is linking an old v0.9.1 from LupoPensuite. |
Bitvise SSH Client (formerly Tunnelier) is a fast, secure FTP and terminal client with a variety of "tunnel" options to create secure connections, similar to a VPN. The program can forward Windows file shares over SSH, an FTP-to-SFTP protocol bridge, port forwarding and more. See forum discussion for adding secure FTP to existing portable software.
Includes support for single-click remote desktop forwarding for graphical server access, vt100, strong auto-reconnect and a scriptable console-mode SFTP client. Integrated SOCKS and HTTP proxy are available for dynamic forwarding. Security measures include wide encryption protocol support including public key exchange and optional integrated compression. Supports profiles and optional encryption of local passwords.
Functional in 64-bit.

FYI, Tunnelier has been renamed Bitvise SSH Client and the current third party PAF repack is v4.60 Rev 2.0 (see http://tp.vbap.com.au/download). The current upstream Bitvise SSH Client is v6.03 (changelog at http://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client-version-history). Both still freeware...

PSPad is a plain text editor with syntax highlighting support and tabbed interface. It includes an integrated hex editor, spell checker, FTP client, code explorer etc. It also allows you to automate repetitive activities through macro recording and playback.
PSPad supports column selection.
Note: The 64-bit version of PSPad is not limited by memory, but is missing the scripting capability of the 32-bit version, as noted here
