@smallhagrid: I don't know if this program has that functionality - I'd look to FreeFileSync http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1475 or Dsynchronize http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=719 here on the site.

Lupo Pensuite has it - but there's no way to tell if it really can ONLY do file changes or not.
I have a single database file I update and use at home & work (because of my poor memory...), it is 50mb+, so if I've got to copy it whole it is a huge time-waster.
Has anyone here gotten this to just copy changes into the destination file ?!?
Thanks.

Next to this I wish it could filter/mask folders to copy folders with a certain name (incl. their subfolders). It seems difficult however to contact the developer as there is no contact information on the website. Hopefully this is read be the developer. :-)

Really great tool. I noticed however that when zip is ticked (at Options) files will only be zipped if "at Root" is also ticked.

ozSync is also my choice for backing up hard drives. Most other backups do an initial scan to collect info on what to copy and/or erase. The scan itself may take an hour or more on a large hard drive. ozSync just starts copying as soon as you hit the button. This makes it ideal for synchronizing a large (many gigabytes) set of data where relatively little has changed since the last synchronization.

The download link is busted, but if you go to the website, you can still download it there with no issues.

Ignore previous comment. I didn't "Enable" the one and only task I had created (they are disabled by default...). Having done that, the app seems to work OK, and seems like just what I need. Thanks!

I don't understand this. I run the ozsync.exe and the program opens up. I add a new sync item, which shows up properly. I populate all fields (source dir, and target dir, both of which exist and are not read-only). File mask is the default *.*. I select Zip Mode backup, with Manual trigger.

All seems fine - but when I press Synchronize, the program does nothing... It does report a 'backup' created in 10 msec or so, and the action appears in the log, but no backup files are actually created. I have now tried all the other backup modes, and almost every option checked and unchecked, and still nothing. This is under WinXP with NTFS drives (all internal). What could the problem be?

a "denial" screen appeared when i tried to download the program.. practically this is what is linked to the download button - http://www.fortunecity.com/referercheck/denial.jpg
