Synopsis: NoteTab Light is a free Notepad replacement as well as a capable HTML editor. It is able to multiple files using a tabbed interface with no size limit, and has built-in macro and clipboard support.

How to extract: Download the installer and extract to a folder of your choice. The application files are located in the {app} subfolder. Launch using "NoteTab.exe /usb".

How to extract:

Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice.
Launch AkelPad.exe.
Go to the "Settings" dialog from the "Options" menu. Under "General", set "Recent files" and "Search history" to "0". Under "Advanced (1)", set "Save settings" to "INI File".

Stealth [?]: Yes. If you set Recent Files and Search History to 0 as these are stored in the registry.

Path portability: Requires manual entry of drive-less absolute path (eg. \docs\personal\work.doc without the drive letter)

Unicode support: Yes. Full support of Unicode strings on Unicode systems (NT/2000/XP/Vista/7)
