So there are lots of discussions along a similar line, but they're either somewhat dated or providing a listing (as Midas did).
My current setup is nice and comes from a lot of effort, but not quite right, mostly because I seem to keep falling back on #3 (Everything) for what I need.
What are you using and why?

My answer in that old thread is still the same - Executor!
I'm also keeping my eye on the PowerToys Run launcher, but I don't think it will get to the point where Executor is. It also looks heavier resource-wise.

is it stealth?
Re: What launcher programs are you using?
Since it basically fulfills all my needs, despite a couple of shortcomings, I went back to Appetizer a while ago...
But why discuss this in "Payware"?

Re: What launcher programs are you using?
Famulus, by our own dmg, has remained #1 for about 4 years now.
I prefer keywords to mice clicks or multiple files and Famulus is 3 portable files, the small .exe written in AHK, a config file, and the commands/shortcuts.
I use Famulus a lot with CLI files, such as CMDOW, NirCmd, and Horst Schaeffer CLI tools.

Quick Cliq - #1, for 10-15 most used programs/files/links. I love its middle-click menu
Everything - for those 10-15 and all other programs/files/links
XYplorer - for organizing things and everything else

Thanks for the suggestions -- I'll look into those.
Just by accident -- I'll push that to Discussion.

Re: What launcher programs are you using?
Listary - CLI type launcher program similar to Launchy,Wox
However, it has fast file search and quick switch function.
But it is not free Software.The free version of Listary is for personal use only.
AHK - AutoHotkey is a very popular script language program.
This program has powerful features and is free.
A program or file can be executed through a hot key or hotstring.
The user has to enter the script, but the launcher use is very simple.
e.g. #g::run https://google.com/ncr
#c::run control
:*:no.::
Run notepad
return
:*:ms.::
Run mspaint
return

Re: What launcher programs are you using?
So an update here -- thanks everyone for the suggestions. Right now, freakazoid's suggestion of Executor is definitely doing the trick but I'm glad I took a closer look at the other described launch programs. I didn't ask a specific enough question (e.g. what program do you use for X task) so I don't think it makes sense to mark this as "resolved" but at least for the problem that inspired the thread, it's resolved.
