Directory Lister lets you list all or selected files you have in selected folders on your storage units into text, csv or html file. You can choose: which items to list (subdirs, size, date, time, attribs, directory names, directory size, full path, crc32 value); which directories to be included; sort options; selection mask (e.g.: *.mp3). It is possible to generate lists for each processed folders, to load and save personalized settings, and to list files from command line (for FTP owners).
Note: Main site only offers a commercial version so we are linking to a mirror of the last available freeware version (thanks Lupo).

@vmars: that is true... but also old news. If read the Note at the entry's end, you'll notice TPFC is linking an old v0.9.1 from LupoPensuite. |
Visual CD is a disk cataloging tool to index CD/DVDs, floppy disks, hard disks, and even folders. You can then explore the disk catalogs, search files and folders, create MP3 playlist file without having the physical disks in the drive. Upon insertion of the corresponding disk, you can open files, split files into smaller pieces, extract ZIP, RAR, and CAB archive, and more.

Is it possible to change Visual CD in such a way that it compensates for USB memory stick drive letter changes, and use \Catalogs as path instead of E:\VisualCD\Catalogs?

I do not have access to Win7 to test this but you might try deleting LS.exe.manifest located in the program folder. Its only purpose is to change the GUI to match the XP Luna theme. I found that deleting it greatly improved stability on XP. If you try it please post back with results. |
Lister creates a file containing attributes of your audio and video files. The program generates an HTML listing alongside an XML file and a XSLT stylesheet (several samples are included).
The program supports MP3, MPEG, AVI, OGG, RealMedia, ASF, Windows Media, Twin-VQ and playlist files (eg. M3U, PLS, B4S). The XML file could be modified or imported into other applications.

MyLib is a cataloging program that uses its own custom database design to store a variety of different catalogs. The program allows a search for file types (e.g. audio, media, text, etc.), sizes, and string/keyword search. MyLib even has a "borrowers" feature that lets you record who has borrowed a disc from your collection.

This should be removed from the database. Neither the website, nor the link via archive.org do work, so there's no way to download. I guess the project is plain dead.

The archive.org mirror link to http://ls.iatp.org.ua/download/files/mylib093ex.zip still works
