JumpListsView displays the information stored by the 'Jump Lists' feature of Windows 7 and Windows 8. For every record found in the Jump Lists, the following information is displayed: The filename that the user opened, the date/time of the file opening event, the ID of the application that was used to open the file, the size/time/attributes of the file on the time that the file was opened, and more...

You can also export the Jump Lists records to csv/tab-delimited/xml/html file.

NTFSLinksView shows you a list of all symbolic links and junctions in the specified folder, and their target paths. Starting from Windows Vista, Microsoft uses symbolic links and junction points of NTFS file system in order to make changes in the folders structure of Windows and keep the compatibility of applications written for older versions of Windows.

ExifToolGUI is a tool for viewing/editing metadata inside a long list of file types including document, audio, video, image, PDF, and more. For images, the program can both edit and create metadata information such as camera/device used, settings used on the device, and even location the picture was taken if the camera has GPS capability. The program also supports IPTC and XMP tags, has batch capability, and import/export all tags.

The program is a front-end for the cross-platform ExifTool. It extracts the content of ExifTool.exe to a temp folder under the user's folder, along with thumbs, if enabled.

  2. Download ExifTool ZIP (labeled "Windows Executable") and extract contents to the same folder
  3. Rename exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe
  4. Launch ExifToolGUI.exe

@John It says it right there where you write your comment, above the textbox: "If your *** scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. ....."

(can't even mention the word v1rus without getting a notice from Portablefreeware)

You should report the false positive to Norton.

Windows File Analyzer decodes and analyzes to provide cached information for forensic analysis. Includes a tabbed interface with a multiple-document window and horizontal/vertical/cascade view settings. Analysis results can be printed in user-friendly form. The program includes a variety of analysis tools useful for seeing how much information your computer leaves behind that could represent a privacy risk or for trying to detect nefarious activity.

Features include thumbnail viewers available for Windows XP, ACDSee, Google Picasa, FastStone Viewer, and HP Digital Imaging files, displaying content with stored data and image preview. A Prefetch Analyzer looks at recent programs run and stored in the Prefetch folder while the Shortcut Analyzer for all shortcut files in specified folder and data stored in them. An Index.DAT Analyzer looks at Internet Explorer cookies, temporary files or history while a Recycle Bin decoding tool displays Info2 files that hold recycle bin content (Win2k and XP only).
