I have now tested MiTeC_Icon_Explorer_5.0.1, and can confirm that
Icon_Explorer_5.0.1 did not write to registry, only OS did.
v5.0.1
Care to share your launchers, CornHolio? Please post at the forum thread...
v5.0.1
All MiTeC software that I use, writes to registry.
MiTeC HexEdit 6.1.0
MiTeC Icon Explorer 4.2.0
MiTeC Mail Viewer 2.3.0
MiTeC Network Scanner 4.0
Therefore Ive used JauntePE060Nightly to make it true stealth.
v5.0.1
Note : If you tick 'Persistent Layout' settings are saved in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MiTeC\Icon Explorer
v5.0.0
I used Opera, the original v12.18
v4.3.2
@gbrao Same w/ Chrome. The file will download, but once finished gets blocked because it "may harm your browsing experience."
Have you tried using a download manager?
v4.3.2
Firefox says "Reported Unwanted Software Page!
This web page at mitec.cz has been reported to contain unwanted software and has been blocked based on your security preferences."
Even if I ignore the warning FF won't let me download the file.
v4.3.2
I have to point out that if "persistent layout" in preferences are set, then
Icon Explorer writes to Registry.
Have to mention that MiTec also make Network Scanner (atm v4.4.0) which
makes a Netscanner.ini file in Your profile under AppData\Roaming\MiTeC\Network Scanner,
if one set the equal setting in preferences.
v5.0.3
