PDFTK Builder is a tool to combine (collate), split, decrypt, add background/stamp, password protect, and other security features. It is a graphical user interface (front-end) to the command-line PDFTK.
Alternatively, PDFTK Builder Portable is a PortableApps version of the program.

Still my favourite pdf software. It was instrumental on my wedding invitations and order of service back in 2005. I'm revisiting it to see if there is a newer version, and comparing with a couple non-portable tools that claim to do ti all. pdftk (the engine behind the Builder GUI) cannot do everything, but with the intuitive ease of Builder, it is still great software.

PDFTK Builder is one of my favourite PDF tools, along with PDFCreator. Thanks Angus Johnson for this little gem.

Is it really a portable app? I tried to run it from my memory stick, but it tells me I have to be logged in as an administrator ...

Extremely useful for people who work with PDF documents. A few tools and capabilities that make managing and rearranging documents so much easier.

This may be overstating the obvious since its linked to above, but make sure you have the latest "innoup" addition to your universal extractor.

The link to Universal Extractor is a bit Catch 22 isn't it? Downloaded it and tried to run it, but it also demands administrator rights.

Tried it, wonderful program but it does write to the registry.
So it isn't realy stealth

The pdftk.exe that comes with this great GUI has moved up 2 versions.

Is Angus going to update the included pdftk or utilise the new features, improvements & bug fixes
or should users drop in the new pdftk.exe themselves. Is it even compatible?

pdftk Builder 3.6 will not break with pdftk 1.44 in my use of it. However, I would really love to use multibackground and multistamp (the main visible additions to 1.4. which Builder 3.6 was built upon). I still haven't found a gui for Windows that takes this into account, so I am using batch files for this specific purpose.

I recently downloaded and tried your software; PDFTK Builder and I am extremely happy with it. Most free ware is so stripped down that it is useless. But your's shows that the people that worked on it realy wanted to produce a product that would serve the public as promised. Great Job!!!!!!!! If all your software is created with as much care, I know people will love it and respect you guys and gal's for honesty and hard work in software creation.
