Download link not working and appears to be dead for some time.

Last known link that worked for me today is on the Wayback Machine at Archive.org.

v1.92

I have used SyncExp for years now and find it impossible to do without.
I do have a problem though. I would like either to turn off the automatic log file updating or somehow redirect the log file to another folder instead of the syncexp.exe folder.
Can anyone help?

I was not able to download through the application website or download website given in the entry.

I was able to download from softpedia a version 1.92

Does anyone have the updated support site? There's a request I have.

If you have a file on both the sync list and the delete list, then it won't sync the file, but deletes it instead. What I want to do is sync the file, THEN delete it. I was wondering how to get in contact with someone that could help me with this.

I use SyncExp for all my syncronizing needs, and one of those needs is syncronizing my data and then deleting it (if I'm on a computer that's not mine). It would be really cool if SyncExp could sync AND delete so that I could just make a task to sync and delete my data, and SyncExp would do both.

But, anyway, if "the right person" sees this, then I don't have to hunt for you, because you found me (but please do tell how I can get in contact with you, or tell me to post here if it works best for you). Elsewise, could someone point me to "the right person", so that I could send them this request?

The best way to contact me is at crossthei.thet@gmail.com if you have futher questions, or with the contact information of "the right person".

By selecting "Only include following sub-folder" option, can SyncExpert compare files in added subfolders only ("Include sub-folder" option is selected). Files in deeper subfolders are not compared.

The unicode support is not complete - no support at least for Georgian.

I run portable apps on the local disk instead of the USB key when connected to one of my own PCs. By synchronizing files, the USB stick and local directories are kept consistent.I used DSynchronize and ozSync before, but although these are excellent programs, SyncExp is the most suitable tool for my purpose. The possibility to exclude specific directories avoids copying the temporary and cached files of a number of applications and increases the lifetime of the USB key. And I really like the clear tree view with proposed actions before the actual copying of data.

"You do not have enough permissions to access this page." the error was on our part and it is now fixed. You link is invalid. Now anybody can download from this page:

http://allqoo.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=1&nav=0&group=syncexp&languageid=1

The Unicode support is only on file/folder name, not on task name.

What is the latest version of SyncEXP, and how do I download it? After registering, I am still not able to download the file. Clicking on the download link at the bottom of the page just gives me "You do not have enough permissions to access this page.". Don't think I am the only one having this problem!

http://allqoo.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=80

Anyway, with the version I have (V1.9), I am not able to enter Unicode characters (eg. Korean characters) into various fields eg. task name.

Thanks Andrew for the clarification. You are correct. SyncEXP is still a freeware and SyncEXPnet a shareware.

Khang: We have been supporting unicode file name long time ago:

SyncEXPnet:
v2.1 - Aug 4, 2005
Improved support of Uniocde file name.

SyncEXP has also been fixed to support unicode around the same age, just not documented in the Readme file : )

On the other hand, SyncEXPERT's support has been moved to a new site. All its previous forum conversations have been converted to knowledgebase articles. Any new application question shall be submitted to us in a ticket form.

Take a look on the new site:
