OSFMount lets you mount local disk image files as a drive letter. It also supports the creation of RAM disks, as well as mounting CD or DVD images in the absence or to supplement/improve on an existing drive. Supported image types include IMG, DD, ISO, BIN, NRG, SDI, AFF, AFM, AFD, VDMK etc.
As images are bit-for-bit copies of disk partitions, many programs will treat them as the real thing, useful for games that require the program disc.

Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions can be downloaded from website.
V1.4.1005
This is my main ISO Mounting tool.
I was using MagicDisc, but it's not portable and requires installation.
Great Addition.
V1.4.1005
Can't extract!
V1.5.1002
Can't extract also.
Signature detected: Inno Setup Setup Data (5.3.10) (u)
This is not directly supported, but i'll try to unpack it as version 5309
; Version detected: 5310 (Unicode)
Critical error: The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.
Unpacking failed. This version is not supported.
V1.5.1002
no problem here (using universal extractor 1.6.1)
V1.5.1002
Well this could replace that weirdly named windows utility that Microsoft should of developed further or passed onto Sys Internals, so ah yes now I remember it's called [Virtual CDRom Control Panel AKA I have an easier time remembering all the random girls I pick up at the clubs every night] -- Pimps Up, Hoes Down
V1.5.1002
Still cannot extract. Using Universal Extractor 1.6.1 too. The error is like "Jurkis" said.
V1.5.1002
try to extract using lupo's updated version of universal extractor. Get it @ http://www.lupopensuite.com/db/universalextractor.htm
V1.5.1002
jurkis,
you have to use latest innounp file.
download at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/innounp/files/innounp/
unrar downloaded file and copy innounp.exe to Universal extractor\bin
that's all. try again and it will unpack osfmount.exe.
V1.5.1004
Thank you the_watcher - lupo extractor works as a charm.
V1.5.1004
circlash, thank you too :)
V1.5.1004
This is not a support forum, I suggest the admin here updates the description and deletes all these useless "can't extract" comments. People including myself like to read the comments to see how well a software performs, I don't care for user incompetence!
V1.5.1004
@ the shadowman .. you owe an apology .. very rude to show your frustration with no effort to research. Instant results for your consideration will not happen if the program cannot be extracted as per instructions.
universal extractor versions prior to 161 will not fully extract the archive unless you replace the innounp file as circlash informed jurkis, and the rest of us. Replacing this file allows even universal extractor version 1.42 to extract this subjects archive ..
V1.5.1004
I too was using MagicDisc but like this much better. I will use it for my ISO needs from now on.
V1.5.1004
Edit Reason:
I finally had time to thoroughly test this for "Stealth" and the results were "Stealth"!
I guess the original poster used RegShot and confused all the registry entries as not being stealth but that's just how RegShot is.
I used jv16 PowerTools to test:
- Launched Passmark OSF Mount
- Launched and Mounted ISO
both came out clean .. stealth :)
woo hoo ! I love this app. !
V1.5.1005
@Magibon "thoroughly test" < Seriously?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_OSFMOUNT
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\OSFMount
Also in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00*\Enum\Root\LEGACY_OSFMOUNT
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00*\services\OSFMount
V1.5.1005
@ Ruby
thanks for that.. i don't know why jv16 did not pick that up ..
it's only innitiated if you mount ..
which i did ..
I appreciate your kindness and for not acting all big, bad, and tuff over an innocent mistake :)
V1.5.1005
@Magibon
No problem, I'm sure you'll reciprocate should the occasion arise ;)
V1.5.1005
Here's a simple launcher if you want it to be stealth: http://pastebin.com/vc7pbFdF
V1.5.1006
@ ChipsNHotSauce
how do i use that? mind explaining how to compile that?
V1.5.1007
@Magibon: You need AutoIt - http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=50
the script now unnecessary since v1.5.1007 :)
V1.5.1007
Anyone know if registry entry:
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_CDFS
is part of usage or considered from OSFMount?
It was created after mounting.
V1.5.1007
@Magibon
I think that key (CD File System) MIGHT be updated on restart, you wrote "created" could that be "modified".
If you export a registry key and 'Save as type' *.txt , you can then open in Notepad and see timestamps.
V1.5.1007
Magibon, would you be willing to reupload your NSIS launcher? I've got a few projects it would be perfect for.
V1.5.1011
i gave up on trying to make my own, i realize i suck at it :)
im using a reliable launcher from here: http://portablexapps.blogspot.com/2012/07/passmark-osfmount-portable.html
v1.5.1013
Be aware, this won't run on 64-bit versions of Windows.
V1.4.1005
