Works well. Found several errors in some junky MP3s I had, although MP3val (http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1415) was able to actually fix them. This program of course will test more types of files.

AudioTester application has been designed to help you test for errors in MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC & WavPack files. i have one for my PC from http://www.techarena.in/download/multimedia-tools/audiotester.htm
Couldn't get ver 1.7 to work with XP. Ver 1.6 does work with XP and can be downloaded here:
